It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 14
1 The fool says in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.
2 The Lord looks down from heaven
on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,
any who seek God.
3 All have turned away, all have become corrupt;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.
4 Do all these evildoers know nothing?
They devour my people as though eating bread;
they never call on the Lord.
5 But there they are, overwhelmed with dread,
for God is present in the company of the righteous.
6 You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor,
but the Lord is their refuge.
7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
When the Lord restores his people,
let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!
Praying for the believers.

Yes, the Morocco five year old who fell into the one hundred plus foot well, only nine inches diameter until it narrows even more. They are trying to dig him out through digging a side hole with heavy equipment while trying not to collapse the well he is in. Only a few feet to go so still praying. He is alive and awake and they have dropped an air mask (not the covid kind, with oxygen) and food and water.

On twenty year old daughter, we have an update. Apparently the male living in her room to be is supposed to be moved to another facility but they are short staffed due to Covid. As soon as they can hire more, he will move and she can move in.

Yesterday, when she had her blow out, she stood in the dining room screaming, “Just give me another chance. Just give me a second chance. I want to live here. I want to get along. I want to be part of the family. You hate me. I don’t want to be a Christian. I told God that and then I slapped my face. You lied to me. Give me a second chance. I am fat. Can I marry who I want? I want to marry a woman. I am getting married next week. Do you like the clothes I made for Tom and Jerry? I want to watch some more Flintstones. You hate me. I want to live here. Give me a second chance. etc.”
After about three hours of her yelling through school time, I mentioned that the past week had been very nice where she had been pleasant to everybody and almost had me convinced she really did want to live here but her current actions said otherwise. She immediately stopped and said she would change. And she did.
So, wisdom. We do want to do what is best for her but we also have to consider what that does to her siblings. They are supposed to be doing school. I doubt I would be able to focus with somebody yelling like that four feet away, while throwing a metal tray she had snagged from somewhere she was not supposed to get into.

Prayers for discernment, Mumsee. It sounds like emotional abuse of the siblings. She is very damaged. Does she do permanent damage to the others or do they witness a Christian walking the extra mile with one in need, going to all lengths to save the lost sheep, etc., and get beneficial benefit that outweighs the emotional abise? Maybe a whole family counselor coild help to sort out what should be your priority. I know of a Christian family counselor who has written some fiction I have reviewed. I think she is in TX. Merilyn Marriott. I wonder if she might do a phone call counseling session or recommend someone to you.

Thanks, Janice, we have a significant support system. A social worker, a psychiatrist, a few medical doctors. Sadly, we think the psychiatrist thinks we took her advice and hospitalized her so have not heard from her. But she said to make the deputies take her to the hospital and they wouldn’t. Our jail does not even hold prisoners anymore due to lack of staff.
