  1. Biden’s world.

    Joe built this.

“Taliban Committed War Crimes, Report Says”

“10/06/2021 Afghanistan (International Christian Concern) – Reports from Amnesty International claim that they had found evidence of the Taliban murdering thirteen people from the ethnic Hazara community including a teenage girl. The event took place in August in the province of Daykundi. The Taliban called the report “one sided” and denied the allegations. The Hazara make up the third largest ethnic community in Afghanistan and have long faced discrimination and persecution from the predominantly Sunni community.

The report comes at a time when the Taliban are under extreme scrutiny by the international community as it observes how the Taliban will govern and lead the country. This horrendous incident only further delegitimizes the Taliban as their actions continue to run completely contrary to their public statements of respect for human rights and their claims that they would offer general amnesty to all Afghans. All indications show that Taliban hardliners intend to rule Afghanistan in much the same way as they did in the 1990s.

Christians have been under threat in Afghanistan for many years and continue to face difficult circumstances throughout the country. The Christian community numbers roughly 8,000-12,000 individuals and is mostly made up of converts from Islam, making them apostate in the eyes of the Taliban and subject to deadly punishments under their version of Shariah law.”

  2. Joe Biden’s America….

They’ll get away with this sexism, classism, and racism, because it was an unpaid position.

But that actually makes this worse.

“Chicago art institute fires all of its volunteer museum guides because most were wealthy white women: report

The Chicago museum reportedly fired all of its volunteer greeters and guides because most were older wealthy white women.”

“On Friday, it was reported that in early September, the Art Institute of Chicago fired all of its docents, or trained volunteer museum guides and greeters, for being “mostly older white women of above-average financial means.”

“According to the Wall Street Journal, on Sept. 3, Veronica Stein, an executive director of learning and engagement at the museum, sent an email to the more than 100 docents the museum has, firing all of them.

“In gratitude for their long, unpaid service—averaging 15 years each—the Art Institute offered the involuntarily retired guides a two-year free pass to the museum,” wrote the Wall Street Journal.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Stein said that the museum needs to move “in a way that allows community members of all income levels to participate, responds to issues of class and income equity, and does not require financial flexibility,” reportedly pointing to the predominantly white and above-average financial means of the museum guides as an issue.”

  3. Well, you built this, so enjoy clowns.

  4. Warms me heart, it does…. 🙂

“Democrats are grappling with the increasingly dire political reality facing them in next year’s midterm elections as warning signs pile up for the party ahead of 2022.

Once hopeful that they could defy the typical midterm shellacking dealt to the party in power, a series of foreboding developments has rocked that sense of optimism. President Biden’s approval ratings are in free fall, his top legislative priorities have stalled and, just this week, Rep. John Yarmuth (D-Ky.) announced that he would retire, making him the first senior House Democrat to bow out ahead of the midterms.

In conversations with The Hill in recent days, several Democratic strategists and operatives expressed a growing sense of pessimism about 2022. Each one said that the party’s recent decline is reversible. Still, most offered a sober assessment of Democrats’ position heading into the final stretch of 2021.

“To be blunt, I’m not feeling good about where we are,” one senior Democratic congressional aide said. “Look, it was never going to be easy or anything. It was always kind of contingent on what got done. I just think we’re starting to see how fragile this is.”

Democrats have virtually no room for error in 2022. Republicans need to flip only five seats in the House to recapture control of the lower chamber, and they stand to benefit right off the bat from redistricting in key states and the historical maxim that the party of a new president tends to lose ground in midterm elections.

And while the fight for the Senate majority appears less dire for the party — the GOP is defending more territory than Democrats, including five open seats — a net loss of even a single seat next year could cost Democrats their control of the chamber.

Those tenuous congressional majorities are among the chief causes of Democrats’ current angst.

A massive $3.5 trillion social policy and climate change bill that lies at the center of Biden’s agenda has been held up by moderate Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.). Meanwhile, progressive lawmakers have vowed to hold up a $1 trillion infrastructure measure until they see action on the broader $3.5 trillion package.

All that has led to considerable handwringing among Democrats, who fear that they’re squandering what could be one of their last opportunities to pass the legislative agenda they ran on in 2020.”

  5. Sure clown.

    Meanwhile, over here in reality…..

  6. Speaking of reality….

“More residents realize California has become simply unlivable”

“In case you somehow missed it in the news, significant portions of California have been on fire recently. And I mean literally on fire. Parts of the state are burning up. At the same time, the state’s ongoing crisis of homelessness has been getting worse rather than better despite multiple government programs and massive amounts of spending having been put in place to combat it. Some of the usual suspects continue to flatly declare that the heatwaves and fires are caused by global warming and somehow that phenomenon is tied into the unaffordable cost of housing in California as well as the endemic issues with homelessness. (Don’t ask me. I’m just reporting what they’re saying.) So what does the government plan to do about it? Leonora Camner, the director of Abundant Housing LA, is pushing to tackle all of these issues simultaneously. (NBC News)

As home prices soar and wildfires rage across California, the state is increasingly confronted with the herculean task of addressing climate change while creating more affordable housing. A series of new mandates recently issued by Gov. Gavin Newsom has plunged the state deeper into what some say is an “existential” dilemma generations in the making: how to house the state’s 40 million residents while also protecting its natural resources.

It’s a complicated task in a state where both homelessness and home prices are on the rise as climate change is fueling wildfires and drought.

“It’s such an existential issue for a California facing climate change,” Camner said. “With these extreme fires, I don’t see how we can ever address housing in a way that doesn’t plan for that fact. There is no getting around it.”

The link above goes to a rather lengthy article that lists many of the various ills plaguing California, particularly in the southern end of the state. Wildfires, heatwaves, unaffordable housing for those with jobs and a lack of public housing to care for the homeless. But what the entire piece is lacking is any sort of coherent solution. The article makes reference to a raft of new bills that Gavin Newsom recently signed into law, some aimed at lowering the state’s carbon footprint and others paving the way for a reduction in single-family housing and more affordable, high-density housing near employment centers.

The people involved in getting these bits of legislation passed are busy patting themselves on the back, but it’s almost impossible to see how any of this is going to create a significant improvement in the conditions that are driving so many Californians to flee the state. Liberals in California have now determined that single-family housing – a huge part of the American dream that so many people aspire to – is an evil that needs to be eradicated. The only new development should focus on towering apartment buildings where the government will artificially keep the prices down.”

  7. How warped is this… for two difficult years health workers were expected to work even without a ‘vaccine’. Now suddenly it is required of them, or they’ll get fired? Absolutely ridiculous.

It’s a good thing that the sleeping giant of our citizenry has been awakened to the dangers of these mandate absurdities.

“A hospital in Minnesota confirmed it temporarily shut down its emergency room and urgent care facility due to a nurse strike.

Allina Health, located in Plymouth, told The Epoch Times that due to the strike, emergency and urgent care services at its WestHealth location were suspended from Sunday morning until Wednesday.

“No other services on the WestHealth campus have been impacted,” Allina Health’s statement said before it redirected people to seek urgent or emergency care at its Abbott Northwestern Hospital Emergency Department and other locations.

The City of Plymouth also confirmed that the hospital’s emergency room and urgent care facilities were shut down, releasing a list of nearby locations for emergency services on its website.

About 50 emergency room nurses organized by the Minnesota Nurses Association walked off the job, demanding more benefits and holiday pay, the organization told local media.

“Compensating nurses fairly for holiday pay is especially critical because understaffing by Allina and other hospital systems has required nurses to work more days and longer hours, including overtime and holidays, as they continue on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic,” the nurses association said.”

  8. I think we have all joined Alice in Wonderland; living with Mad Hatters and queens that want to lop off heads. Soon we will have the janitors doing surgeries and the surgeons sweeping streets like was done back in the days the Communists took over. God have mercy!

  9. This goes nicely with Tychicus link above….

    “Lectures From Limousine Liberals

The same people who sat at home praising essential workers as heroes now repay them with exclusion and sneering condescension”

“March 11, 2020, was the day the world stopped. The World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson announced that they had the virus and were quarantining in Australia. In Los Angeles County, where I live, all gyms and bars were quickly closed, and a week later California Gov. Gavin Newsom issued a statewide stay-at-home order, urging 40 million residents to shelter in place.

While normal people tried to figure out how to juggle work, child care, and living under the same roof for 24 hours a day, celebrities were having a ball. Locked up with only their phones and without their handlers, the public was treated to an unfiltered parade of narcissism on fire. Distraught about the postponement of Coachella, Vanessa Hudgens took to Instagram Live to lament that “like, yeah, people are gonna die.” Gal Gadot talked about how “we’re all in this together” and gathered a celebrity cast to sing a horrifying version of “Imagine” from their sprawling mansions.”

“Meanwhile, the upper class spent the entire pandemic thanking essential workers for their sacrifice, clapping for the hospital workers from the doorsteps of their West Village brownstones and saluting the Postmates drivers dropping off their $25 bone broth. Of course, while they were patting the poor on the back, they also were padding their pockets. Many studies show that upper-income families only improved their financial circumstances during the pandemic.”

“Now, of course, vaccines and mandates are the talk of the town, and the class-driven divide between the working class and the elites continues to grow unchecked. Almost overnight when the Biden administration took over, we went from “America is racist to its core” to “trust the government implicitly, take your shot, and show your papers.” Los Angeles County just passed one of the most sweeping vaccine mandates in the country, requiring the shots for everything from bars to gyms to indoor city facilities.

You’ll be forgiven if you suffered narrative whiplash. The sneering contempt many in the left-wing pundit class have demonstrated in their recent rhetoric about the “unvaccinated,” many of whom are lower-income people of color, is in direct opposition to the years of “diversity, equity, and inclusion.” These days, the men and women who worked through the whole pandemic are being shamed and patronized by the very people whose cushy existences they facilitated for a year and a half. The liberal elites who holed up in the Hamptons and didn’t have contact with the outside world for a year are ready to get back to their SoulCycle classes, even if it means firing a few people they once called “frontline heroes.” The irony of the same people who screamed in the faces of policemen at the height of a pandemic turning around to demand that these cops now shut up, stop asking questions, and get vaccinated is almost too much to bear.

Apparently, it’s difficult to comprehend that the people who never stopped working while you were in your bubble, who bore the greatest risk throughout the whole pandemic, are making their own calculated decisions about getting a vaccine. As a society, we seem chronically unwilling to take their arguments and reservations into account (let alone scientific considerations like natural immunity—the vulnerable populations that suffered the most deaths also suffered the largest rates of infection. It’s not out of the question that many already had the virus).

The discourse in the media makes it sound like these criticisms are aimed at the right-wing anti-vaxxer population—and that might be true on a countrywide level—but the numbers tell the truest story about who will be most disproportionately affected by draconian mandates. In L.A. County, only 54% of the Black population and 62% of the “Latinx” population have received at least one dose of the vaccine. Despite all the resources the city ostensibly devotes to equity and inclusion, it’s clear that these minority populations will be most affected by the mandates. If Black lives matter to you so much, shouldn’t you care that Black people will be excluded from restaurants and movie theaters and nail salons?

From my perspective, this is state-sanctioned discrimination, and the righteous moralizing from the pajama class is the highest form of limousine liberal hypocrisy. Aiming uncharitable and derisive rhetoric at the very people you have been screaming should have a seat at the table is a tone-deaf disgrace. It seems like in Los Angeles County, the signs calling essential workers heroes really mean “if you do what we say.””

  10. Time to move the goalposts again.

“White House rules for entry by vaccinated foreign travelers have a new definition of “vaccinated””

“We previously learned that the border with Canada was being reopened for travel between the two countries, but only for the “fully vaccinated.” I’m putting that in scare quotes because the definition of this term continues to evolve in Washington. The reason the definition may become more important shortly is that the United States will also begin allowing air travelers from Europe to come to our country. They too will need to show proof of vaccination, but the specifics of how they were vaccinated will be under scrutiny as well. Only people who have received “any combination of two doses” of vaccine will be allowed to enter. Also, if you have already had and survived COVID, developing your own antibodies in the process, that won’t be factored in either. It’s going to be proof of two shots or don’t bother trying to fly to America. (Bloomberg)

The new U.S. travel policy will block entry to foreign nationals who have recovered from Covid-19 and then gotten one dose of two-dose vaccines — a standard that France and the European Commission consider full vaccination.

The U.S. announced on Friday that it would open its borders to vaccinated travelers beginning Nov. 8, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that would include “any combination of two doses” from two-shot vaccines. An agency spokeswoman confirmed that people with just one dose would be excluded, regardless of whether they’ve also recovered from Covid-19.

The tiresome word games are obviously continuing. If you’re looking to visit the United States and you happened to receive the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, you’re out of luck even though the government told you that you only needed one shot. And despite previous assurances from Doctor Fauci that people who survived the virus and received a vaccination on top of that were basically the same as Superman, that won’t be factored in either.

Further, if we’re dealing with foreign travelers, not all of them will have received either the two-dose Pfizer or Moderna shots. Other countries have been developing and deploying their own. Many people on the other side of the Atlantic have received Russia’s Sputnik vaccine, which is usually given in two doses, but there is also a “Sputnik Light” that’s given as a single dose. The point is that there are plenty of people who dutifully went and got vaccinated, being told by their doctors and their government that they should be all set. And now some of them will be turned away.”

  11. Just gonna leave this here……

You’ve been lied to again about that jab you got. Don’t think you’re safe. You’re not. The media and govt have been lying about the number and severity of breakthrough cases.

“Former CDC Director Gives Alarming Statistic on Fully Vaccinated COVID Deaths”

“Speaking during an interview with Fox News Monday afternoon, former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield said that more than 40 percent of people who have recently died from Wuhan coronavirus in Maryland were fully vaccinated.

“A lot of times people may feel it’s a rare event that fully vaccinated people die. I happen to be the senior advisor to Governor Hogan in the state of Maryland. In the last 6-8 weeks, more than 40 percent of people who died in Maryland were fully vaccinated,” Redfield said, responding to the death of former Secretary of State Colin Powell.

At the time of his death from virus complications, Powell was also fighting a blood cancer that lowers the ability to stave off infection.”

  12. Looks like Jill is now aiding her husband and the coyotes in the world’s largest human trafficking ring…..

“Jill Biden boosts group that helps illegal immigrants avoid arrest amid border crisis”

“First lady Jill Biden touted a private school run by a Democratic donor whose organization has posted tips on how illegal immigrants can avoid arrest while in the U.S. ”

El Centro president and CEO Irene Caudillo is a Democratic donor who has given to both President Biden’s campaign and to Rep. Sharice Davids, who urged the first lady to visit the school, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

El Centro’s nonprofit arm has published a series of videos on how illegal immigrants can avoid arrests, with tips such as ignoring ICE agents during any interactions and contacting “a member of the community who does have status,” the outlet reported.”

  13. This is just gross.

These people are disgusting. They are vulgar, vile, and perverted in everything they do.

“Rachel Levine, openly transgender health official, to be sworn in as four-star admiral”

And to think some people voted for this asinine stupidity.

“A senior Biden health appointee who made history when she became the nation’s highest-ranking openly transgender official has also become its first openly transgender four-star officer.”

Rachel Levine, the U.S. assistant secretary for health, was sworn in Tuesday as an admiral of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, a 6,000-person force that responds to health crises on behalf of the federal government, including administering coronavirus vaccines and delivering care after hurricanes. Levine is also the organization’s first-ever female four-star admiral.

The move was hailed by advocacy groups like the gay rights organization GLAAD, and health care leaders who called it a breakthrough moment.”

    Enjoy idiots.

  16. Please don’t call a human being, made in God’s image, “it”. Use male pronouns if you want to, but please not “it”. 😦

Transgender folks generally have some serious mental/emotional issues. We may not like how they deal with their issues, but we should have compassion for them and pray for them. (As for “normalizing” this, I do not think that that is doing them any favors.)
