Afternoon from Rome. So much traveling. And a ten hour time difference. I have only just adjusted. Spent the morning at the Vatican. Too much to see and too many crowds
Good foggy morning! That kitty has the right idea of sleeping in!! So so cute!
Fog has rolled through a couple of times this morning and we are currently socked in a cloud! The front is moving in and our weather will be switching over quickly. 64 for a high today 44 tomorrow with sub freezing temps tonight. Unhooking the hoses and emptying water buckets and bird baths…all my pretty late blossoming flowers will no longer be pretty…so I shall cut them and make a floral arrangement to prolong their beauty!
Good to hear from you Jo…sounds as though you are on quite the adventure!!
Amen on the Vatican. It was maddening. You get so tired from walking on all that marble and all you want to do is sit down and take in the glory of the cathedral and our God.
Absolutely not allowed–unless you’re going to confession.
I actually thought about going to confession for the first time in about 55 years, just to be able to sit down for a little bit!
Another wonderful Bible study with the group. Progressing through Proverbs and hoping we are all gaining with our store of Go’s wisdom in our hearts and minds.
Glad that those who enjoy travel, like Jo and Michelle, are able to go to distant lands for adventures. Then there are those who prefer the comforts of home so I am glad for those of us who have the advantages of life without suitcases and carry-on bags of a certain size and weight. Isn’t it great that God made us all so individually with the ability to practice the art of contentment in various ways?
We have rainy drizzle and it is colder, as well. The golds from the aspen trees, however, brighten everything up. The tamaracks are also starting to change.
Good morning.

We broke the record for heat today. Back in 1954, when I was 10 months old it hit 86°. Today we were at 87°.

We broke that record last weekend, too, Janice. Way too hot for fall.
