Life is crazy. Yesterday I finally turned on the heat and nothing happened. I do have the propane wood stove and will try using that
Then I have one smoke alarm left and it’s beeping for two days took out the battery still beeping My friend came over and got the whole unit off the ceiling. And the noise continues. There’s some wires but that’s all. So she put the unit back in with a new battery. Still beeping
I am in my bedroom with the door shut. Beeping has taken over the house
Jo here the fire dept will come out to assess the issue. They could not find the source of my neighbors constant beep so they changed out all the batteries in her alarms! Perhaps they will come out to help you…praying still
Thanks, NJ, I had thought of stopping at the fire department. My friend and her husband came over today. Turns out it was the smoke detector and the carbon monoxide detector. Only feet away from each other downstairs. I had noticed that there was a single beep and then later a triple beep.
Also I have an appointment for my heater for next Friday and am just using my propane heater.

I think it’s time for a new smoke detector.
I’d probably take out the old one, especially if it was still beeping, remove the batteries, and stomp it to death. 😦
Is it perhaps wired into your electrical system?
So sorry.

My thought . . . Smash and Trash!
Prayers for an easy fix and for clarity of thought in the midst of all the noise.
It does sound very uncomfortable, Jo.
