🙂 My husband’s group played in new assisted living building yesterday. (Actually, the original building was a facility that two SIL’s had worked in and a BIL had lived in, but we had never been to the new one.) This was so obviously run by a Christian based company. The place was so beautiful, bright and welcoming, as was the staff. This building was an old municipal building or some such, but the rehab was beautiful. I have seen too many old buildings just demolished. How nice to see this one reused in such a beautiful way.
😦 The state of the nation and how serious this all is beginning to feel
😦 War
😦 The rise and dominance of mockery in our political discourse – Def: making fun of someone or something in a cruel way; derisive; “the mocking hostility in his voice made her wince” ~
😦 Congress and the upcoming election; the weird and angry vibe all around us; the potential for homegrown violence to erupt in all of this
😦 A couple friends who actually say they’re “stocking” up on some extra supplies
I saw on IG that since you have to store your canning jars and they take up space anyways, fill them with water and then you’ll always have a back up source. Sounds like good advice to me. Then when canning season arrives, you dump the water and fill with yummy food!

My husband called me on fear when I went out and bought water.
“You need prayer, Michelle, not water.”
Hey, I got both!
