Morning! A cool day here and the humidity is up! Thankful for some moisture headed our way…
Day of catching up after a busy week…
Miss Bee’s funeral service was lovely and they expected about 80 to attend…there were well over 200 people there! Such a beloved friend always faithful to our Saviour….well done good and faithful servant of the Lord…
Thankful for those friends Jo! So many of us are incredibly blessed of the Lord with precious friendships….
Thanks Kathaleena…I pray your weekend is filled with sweet blessing…present and those we reflect upon as we journey on…
Good afternoon from rehab. I don’t know the weather except the fire sprinklers are not on in here so it’s not raining, lol
Wound care is here. It has been the only activity except for meals today. My Audible books are working quite well for enjoyable entertainment and I get to act as a PT coach every few hours.
Art got to grocery shop last night. He was surprised by the cost of organic brocolli. He could not find the Lara bars I enjoy for snacks. He is happy to bring me meals cooked by restaurants. He offered to stay but has a temper that would not be a good combo in this environment.
Good Sunday morning, Wanderers! It was a rough night with little sleep. Right as I was getting some sleep around 7 a.m., Art called and said he was downstairs bring me some water bottles. Now I am trying to rest again.
Ugh, Janice! Sleep is elusive here generally. Right now my husband has a bad cough, so it is even worse. He was determined to go to church this morning but agreed with me that he is still coughing too much. The service will be online. He, like me, always has allergy issues, but this may be more, so we do not want to spread it.
Kathaleena I hope that cough subsides soon. Our Pastor’s little family has been quarantined for the past week for whooping cough. His wife and daughter had confirmed cases and he and their little guy were put on antibiotics for a preventative measure. The daughter has asthma and it was truly hard on her little self…
