Sherwin and D'Antuono held a chest-beating presser on Jan 12, warning Americans they would be hunted down for Jan 6. He ID'd some defendants (Munchel, Barnett) by name.
In March, Sherwin gave his "shock and awe" interview, calling J6 a terror eventhttps://t.co/N4WYEXB3EC

The Biden administration has been partially funding an “index” to warn advertisers to avoid dangerous disinformation sites. Surprise! All ten “riskiest” sites identified by the Global Disinformation Index are popular with conservatives and libertarians… https://t.co/dPpPnHxwA5
“The index, run by a British organization, appears to be an effort to score and sanction sites based on their “reliability” to those in the political and media establishments.
That sounds like a knockoff of China’s “social credit” system which scores its citizens, based in part on social media monitoring.
Clearly, the administration never abandoned its intent to fund and field efforts to curtail speech on the internet — with the support of many in the media and academia. In an Atlantic article in 2020, for example, Harvard Law School professor Jack Goldsmith and University of Arizona law professor Andrew Keane Woods declared that “in the great debate of the past two decades about freedom versus control of the network, China was largely right and the United States was largely wrong.” They concluded that “significant monitoring and speech control are inevitable components of a mature and flourishing internet, and governments must play a large role in these practices to ensure that the internet is compatible with society norms and values.”
Despite fierce opposition from Democrats in Congress, Twitter continues to release evidence of a comprehensive effort by FBI agents to coordinate the banning or suspensions of people accused of disinformation, including people who were clearly joking.
The Global Disinformation Index (GDI) is a particularly insidious part of that effort. Funded in part by $330 million from the U.S. State Department through the National Endowment for Democracy (which contributes to GDI’s budget), the GDI was designed to steer advertisers and subscribers away from “risky” sites which it says pose “reputational and brand risk” and to help companies avoid “financially supporting disinformation online.”
GDI warned advertisers that these sites could damage their reputations and brands: the New York Post, Reason, Real Clear Politics, the Daily Wire, The Blaze, One America News Network, The Federalist, Newsmax, the American Spectator, and the American Conservative.”
Quick, someone remind me how illegals can’t get welfare benefits.
The teenage gang member recently arrested for the murder of a Maryland woman came to the U.S. under a special program that welcomes illegal immigrants under the age of 18 and provides them with a multitude of taxpayer benefits. READ: https://t.co/1kI4I83oNO
Biden and his party encouraged this kind of public harassment. They've refused to enforce laws to stop it when the targets are conservative Supreme Court justices. They laughed at Rand Paul and Ted Cruz being mobbed.
Libs in the replies aren’t happy with this but a few years ago they informed us this is how to bring about change. What happened? https://t.co/3zCWWwuF0D
Was that Jill…errrrr Dr Jill…eating with a mask on? And isn’t he in the Ukraine on a “secret mission”? Can they just keep him over there please?
Julie Kelly continues her perpetual astonishment and suspicion. Now it’s the fact that a man who later committed a crime walked a few metres past the DC attorney. And the horror, the DC attorney knowing he’d be outside all day was wearing jeans and a windbreaker instead of a business suit.
Six days later, they knew some of the people who committed a crime in their district. Shocked at the efficiency of the American police. Honestly how can anyone take Kelly’s attempt to turn anything and everything into something suspicious seriously.
And yes this includes police and secret service refusal to turn over anything not deemed relevant to the prosecution. Its standard operating procedure to minimize disclosure and especially if it’s the Congress building.
Given FOX news executives knew some of their hosts were lying on the air; just to increase ratings against right wing competition elsewhere, we can safely conclude some of those sites listed were also lying as opposed to telling the truth.
The National Endowment for Democracy is technically an arms length organization that promotes democracy not just in the US but elsewhere. Some on the left have accused it of funding propaganda against leftist governments in Venezuela, Brazil, Peru, Nicaragua, Honduras, etc. This organization then provides some funds to GDI based in Great Britain. Given the degrees of separation here, its unlikely the amount of money from the State Dept to the NED to GDI would have any influence on sites selected as provided disinformation. True, I found a few of them borderline (Reason, Spectator) but some of the others are definetely spreading misinformation.
Giving unaccompanied migrants welfare is the only decent humane thing to do. What else is there to do? Bring back child labour? And cutting the rest of the children off for the crimes of a few is also wrong. Should police target teenage white boys since thats the demographic usually responsible for school shootings?
Senator Johnson’s tweet is amusing – you can’t compare Tyneol to a vaccine and you can’t compare gross numbers – you need to know how per cente. You also need to know the context. The Viligant Fox is even more amusing. “Look at these horrible numbers” without actually defining injury and without providing context. And then they follow up with promising excellent medical care from the doctor who gave them the stats. Snake oil salesmen? I wonder if they get a cut from any referral from the tweet?
Trudeau is a trust fund baby. Although I must say, he’s no longer as smooth and confident as he used to be. Freeland probably wasn’t at the press conference to hold his hand. As it stands now, if an election was called today, he would still win a minority government relying on the separatists, greens, and/or socialists to pass legislation. It would be difficult for the conservatives to form a gov’t.
There’s a large contingent of leftist in the US who don’t like Biden. They didn’t vote for Biden; they voted against Trump. Even last year, 94% of Democrats under 30 didn’t want Biden to run again. Among the “peace” left, many are opposed to helping Ukraine. They view the conflict not as authoritarian vs liberal democracy but just another case of US interference creating conflict. They’re wrong; just asked the social democrats in Scandanavia.
When these types of ambush protests happened to Republicans, many in the “corporate wing” of the Democratic party opposed it precisely because they knew it would happen to them. Not surprised to see Code Pink here – this is what they do and they do it without Democratic support.
Biden in Ukraine. He’s going to pull some serious cred in Europe for this. NATO isn’t always a coherent united force but this will turn some heads.
The govt continues to hide the truth, and some are OK with that.
Fed. Run. Op.
