Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 80
Of Asaph. A psalm.
1 Hear us, Shepherd of Israel,
you who lead Joseph like a flock.
You who sit enthroned between the cherubim,
shine forth 2 before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh.
Awaken your might;
come and save us.
3 Restore us, O God;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.
4 How long, Lord God Almighty,
will your anger smolder
against the prayers of your people?
5 You have fed them with the bread of tears;
you have made them drink tears by the bowlful.
6 You have made us an object of derision to our neighbors,
and our enemies mock us.
7 Restore us, God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.
8 You transplanted a vine from Egypt;
you drove out the nations and planted it.
9 You cleared the ground for it,
and it took root and filled the land.
10 The mountains were covered with its shade,
the mighty cedars with its branches.
11 Its branches reached as far as the Sea,
its shoots as far as the River.
12 Why have you broken down its walls
so that all who pass by pick its grapes?
13 Boars from the forest ravage it,
and insects from the fields feed on it.
14 Return to us, God Almighty!
Look down from heaven and see!
Watch over this vine,
15 the root your right hand has planted,
the son you have raised up for yourself.
16 Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire;
at your rebuke your people perish.
17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand,
the son of man you have raised up for yourself.
18 Then we will not turn away from you;
revive us, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.
Wisdom. Husband should be coming home in four days as his brother and his wife arrive. But brother and wife are only staying three days. So grandpa will still be in the facility and grandma will still be home, too weak to take care of herself and unable to drive to visit him. Should husband stay another couple of weeks? Rather than fly home and fly back again right away. He is the only one able and willing to stay but it is hard for him.

Mumsee, difficult decisions about care of the people I most love have been the most wrenching experiences. I pray God gives both you and Mike peace in whatever decisions you make regarding those you love and care for.

Because life cannot get any more crazy: Husband is in Florida helping ill and incapable of caring for herself step mom at her home and visiting his unwell dad in the hospital. Now, step mom’s daughter and son in law are going to Ohio to pick up their furniture in a U Haul and driving it down to Florida. But they care for step mom’s one hundred year old brother in law. However, they cannot find a care giver for their absence so are bringing him to her house so she can take care of him. Prayer for husband. For wisdom and strength and the Peace of Christ and Joy of serving.

I can not fathom it, Mumsee, but God knows. Asking for divine help to be released from God’s vast unseen storehouses. Human resources, material help and whatever God knows is needed by Mike and all in the household. Are there any younger giving souls that y’all helped in the past that might be willing to pitch in?

There have been offers but they have families and obligations of their own so we gratefully declined.
Some are helping pay for the CNA course the worker is taking in Moscow to help the folks.
They are all fairly generous giving people but there is limited space and limited funds to be flying back and forth across the country. But God is not limited.
