Psalm 4

A psalm of David.

¹Answer me when I call to you,
my righteous God.
Give me relief from my distress;
have mercy on me and hear my prayer.

²How long will you people turn my glory into shame?
How long will you love delusions and seek false gods?
³Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself;
the Lord hears when I call to him.

⁴Tremble and do not sin;
    when you are on your beds,
    search your hearts and be silent.
⁵Offer the sacrifices of the righteous
    and trust in the Lord.

⁶Many, Lord, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?”
Let the light of your face shine on us.
⁷Fill my heart with joy
when their grain and new wine abound.

⁸In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, Lord,
make me dwell in safety.

Prayers for dj in all she is facing with her Cowboy and upcoming surgery. May God give peace and hope for a good future. Overwhelm her worries and sadness with Your peace, Father God.

Prayers for Six as she gets ready for the new homeschool season and meeting the needs of piano students on top of her family’s needs.

Prayers for Mumsee as she juggles so many responsibilities and for all to go well in tge elder’s transitions.

Prayers for Jo as she continues traveling and getting settled to her new ways of doing life after all her years on the mission field.

Prayers for Nancyjill for a breakthrough with her daughter. Lord please advance her on the course You had planned for her before she fell into her own lost ways.

Prayers for Michelle as she juggles the many facets of her active life. Bless her Adorables with great faith in You.

Prayers for Kevin and Peter for the needs You know they have.

Prayers for AJ in his health, in the lives of his loved ones, and in his ministry to the Wanderers each day.

Lord, I always leave someone out so I pray Your best blessings to pour out, like the rain is pouring here, over all our dear Wanderers and their loved ones today.

I lift my prayers in Jesus’ name, Amen

And thanks to all of you for your prayers. Our friend Glenn died about midnight with his wife at his side praying him into heaven.

He’s the first to go among our Navy male friends and he was a strong support during a difficult time.

We’ll be seeing him soon. Time is fleeting.
