Prayer Requests 7-20-22

It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget to pray for The Gambia.

Anyone else?

Psalm 3

A psalm of David. When he fled from his son Absalom.

Lord, how many are my foes!
    How many rise up against me!
Many are saying of me,
    “God will not deliver him.”

But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
    my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
I call out to the Lord,
    and he answers me from his holy mountain.

I lie down and sleep;
    I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
I will not fear though tens of thousands
    assail me on every side.

Arise, Lord!
    Deliver me, my God!
   Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
    break the teeth of the wicked.

From the Lord comes deliverance.
    May your blessing be on your people.

  1. Thank you for all the prayers for Irvin through the years. It is quite an achievement that he was able to live on his own, for the most part, over all his adult life. The family all worked to help and so did others. His pastor and pastor’s family were a big help. Our former pastor also helped him so much. All those who helped him be able to volunteer, do bible study (even leading) were such a blessing. Thanking and praising God for it all.

  2. I told my brothers and the step sibs that it is time. My brother has an appt tomorrow to go look at the three available apartments at Good Sam. Parents have agreed to go. Prayer for a quick and easy move. Thanks! We have the big family reunion next week and I hear various of the cousins are wanting to come down to visit the last remaining original of the brothers and sister so being in the facility should make that easier on them.
