Prayer Requests 6-27-22

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 133

A song of ascents. Of David.

How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!

It is like precious oil poured on the head,
    running down on the beard,
   running down on Aaron’s beard,
down on the collar of his robe.
It is as if the dew of Hermon
    were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the Lord bestows his blessing,
    even life forevermore.

  1. Thanks for asking, Janice. I haven’t heard anything new since what I reported yesterday. I checked my email to see if our pastor had updated our prayer group, but there was nothing. I must say I check with some trepidation, though with more fervent prayer as I’m doing so, hoping and praying he’s still with us.

My mother heart goes out to Liz. I pray she’s holding up in the face of Jacob’s circumstances.

Thank you for your prayers for Jacob and his family. I’ll report when I know more.

  2. Nightingale and Boy will be making the long trip home tomorrow. The drive itself is estimated to be ten hours, but of course, they will be making stops to eat and go to the bathroom, so it could be closer to twelve hours before they’re home. Depending on how early they can get up, get ready, and leave, they will probably not be home until evening. And then Nightingale has to get up early the next day for work.

Please pray for safe travels for them, and that Nightingale will feel well-rested enough when she has to get up for work on Wednesday morning. (She tends to have trouble getting to sleep at night.) Thank you.

(I am posting this now in case I forget to later, and will post it again on tomorrow’s thread.)

  3. Prayers for God to make a clear path all the way home and to bless their remaining hours there. I pray they have experienced a realization of divine design in nature and God’s glory in creation. May they feel a drawing to God through such pleasant outdoors experiences. In Jesus’ name, Amen
