Prayer Requests 1-23-21

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 142

I cry aloud to the Lord;
    I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy.
I pour out before him my complaint;
    before him I tell my trouble.

When my spirit grows faint within me,
    it is you who watch over my way.
   In the path where I walk
    people have hidden a snare for me.
Look and see, there is no one at my right hand;
    no one is concerned for me.
   I have no refuge;
    no one cares for my life.

I cry to you, Lord;
    I say, “You are my refuge,
    my portion in the land of the living.”

Listen to my cry,
    for I am in desperate need;
   rescue me from those who pursue me,
    for they are too strong for me.
Set me free from my prison,
    that I may praise your name.
   Then the righteous will gather about me
    because of your goodness to me.

  1. God’s best: whether it is daughter and son in law find a house in Boise area and a babysitter, or twenty four moves down with her daughter to babysit and work, or they move up here where daughters can work and we can babysit.

  2. Hello all! Here is an update from Franz’s Mom:

    “Ok prayer warriors- you are blowing it out of the park!!!

    Franz is not only eating but eating with silverware made specially for him. He is also drinking with a cup specially made for him.

    Franz is not only breathing but has the coveted red cap on his Trach – the final step before taking the Trach out of his throat permanently.

    I asked him what you fierce warriors could pray for next.

    “Please pray I have feelings and movement in my hands and I can walk. But most immediate, please pray I can sleep through the night.”

    Since his accident, Franz has been on a lot of drugs for pain. In addition, the doctors put him on 3 heavy “mood” drugs. Zoloft being one of them. When Franz found out, he asked to be taken off those drugs immediately. The withdrawal is tough and we think is contributing to sleepless nights.

    We continue to pray for each of you. Thank you for your constant support and love.”

    We cannot thank you enough for your prayers!

  3. Sounds like the offer on the second house, country set up so the horse is fine, was accepted. They are going to ask twenty four to come down and part time nanny and part time work. Pray for all. Pray for their relationship that it does not go the way of the one with their brother.
