Prayer Requests 3-31-20

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 57

Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me,
    for in you I take refuge.
   I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings
    until the disaster has passed.

I cry out to God Most High,
    to God, who vindicates me.
He sends from heaven and saves me,
    rebuking those who hotly pursue me—
    God sends forth his love and his faithfulness.

I am in the midst of lions;
    I am forced to dwell among ravenous beasts—
   men whose teeth are spears and arrows,
    whose tongues are sharp swords.

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
    let your glory be over all the earth.

They spread a net for my feet—
    I was bowed down in distress.
   They dug a pit in my path—
    but they have fallen into it themselves.

My heart, O God, is steadfast,
    my heart is steadfast;
    I will sing and make music.
Awake, my soul!
    Awake, harp and lyre!
    I will awaken the dawn.

I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
    I will sing of you among the peoples.
10 For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;
    your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

11 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
    let your glory be over all the earth.

  1. The sun will rise and we can praise Him for that.
    Husband should be home tomorrow, praise for that and prayer for the wisdom of that.
    Fourth daughter has discovered that sixth daughter (twelve year old) hides food under her mattress (cat food this time) and is dishonest. Prayer that fourth daughter and her husband will be able to help sixth daughter to see the error of her ways. Sixth daughter seems remorseful. It is like most of us with habits we would rather not have.

  2. Praying for the real and family and church and community. May the believers be beacons, pointing the lost to the Light and Life in this difficult time. May they have peace as they trust in Him.

  3. Potentially. They had an open snack policy same as we had with fruit. However, she was compulsively taking things (socket sets, masking tape, etc) and hiding them under a storage shed. This time it was cat food, one can imagine for bribing the cats to stay in her room. I hope that was her reason though she and her brother eat a lot of interesting things. She tends to take paper, tear it into tiny pieces and then hide it. She also eats it. She likes the labels from fruit. She dumps dog food in random piles throughout the yard. We have not had her diagnosed.

  4. Dr. Fauci too. He looks pretty good, but he’s running on short sleep too. I saw him in a YouTube conversation a week or so ago with Dr. Collins (head of NIH), describing the rhythm of his day, and it’s grueling.

  5. They are all running on very little, working hard. I understand that is the norm for President Trump and probably others. Not me. But that is what is needed at this time and we need to be praying for them all. Wisdom.

    It was neat to hear the President talk about Franklin Graham and Jesus. God is working.
