Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 124
1 If the Lord had not been on our side—
let Israel say—
2 if the Lord had not been on our side
when people attacked us,
3 they would have swallowed us alive
when their anger flared against us;
4 the flood would have engulfed us,
the torrent would have swept over us,
5 the raging waters
would have swept us away.
6 Praise be to the Lord,
who has not let us be torn by their teeth.
7 We have escaped like a bird
from the fowler’s snare;
the snare has been broken,
and we have escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
Tweaked my back yesterday and limped through the day. Off to begin Adorable school duty 2018 this morning and thence to Bible study. It’s a nuisance more than anything.
Thank you for your prayers about our church meeting on New Year’s Eve regarding finances. 2/7 of our annual budget poured into the coffers in December and we’re back just fine again to start the new year.
It’s happened this way at least 7 years in a row. The stewards don’t like presuming on God like this. The next prayer request is for wisdom for them figuring out what this means–they’ve recognized the pattern for years–and how to best handle the finances given what God keeps doing.
It’s a curious walk.

I need a lot of patience with someone at work today. She has to be off her meds. She is doing everything but her job.

I’ve been having a tough few days, feeling a new wave of grief, and feeling overwhelmed by everything.
At least I have finally, after setting it all aside for the Christmas season, finished the paperwork for probate court. There are still a couple lines left to fill in that the lady will have to help me with. Finishing that makes me feel a bit better, as the thought of having to do it was weighing on me. (I don’t know why I didn’t “just do it”, but I was nervous about it, so kept putting it off.)
