NJ, there are composite floors that can be damaged with those steamers. It can affect the underlayer of wood. It is good for tile for sure. I used it the other day for that.

It’s 34 degrees here and the wind is howling. Light ran and no snow for us yet. The mountains are getting pummeled! A very good day to stay indoors…Pumpkin would be a welcomed visitor on my lap this morning…so thankful that little one visits you and gets in snuggle time Janice!
I think living in a mostly arid climate spoils me at times. I can clean the wood floors with a damp microfiber mop and it is dry before I turn around! I hang sweaters and jeans on a line in my basement and they are dry in just a few hours.
Are composite floors the engineered flooring…I don’t think I have seen composite? I have thought about those steamers for getting wrinkles out of clothes but there is something very satisfying to me about the ironing board and iron…I know to some that’s strange but what can I say!!
