😦 The commonness of school shootings. We are still sad, but not as shocked as we used to be.
🙂 Those who help teach others to be safe. My youngest told me they would be doing a safety protocol with the daycare this week. They read a book to the children about a moose finding its way into a school and then practice together all the ways to keep it from getting into their classrooms. It is sad they need to do this, but they have already had a couple of times they needed to keep all students in the classroom until all clear was sounded.
🙂 The brave souls who help in those situations. The perceptive, brave man with the conceal carry permit who stopped that shooter.
