  1. Coming home yesterday to read Cheryl’s defense of Dixie was grand.

My time machine is now ready, so I will be leaving. I have enjoyed visiting with all of you over the years and wish you the best.

AJ, Thanks for creating and maintaining the blog. It has been a blessing to all of us.

  2. Time machine won’t work.
You can’t go back and I’m afraid that it will get worse before it gets better.
    But it will get better.

I don’t want to go back. There were some hard times in those days. The Lord got us through them, but it wasn’t easy.

Some of you can attest to that. Know this.
    It will work out.

  3. I enjoyed the discussion yesterday. It’s nice when you can discuss a sensitive topic with folks who don’t all agree, yet all remain respectful and don’t resort to name calling and bomb throwing. It’s hard to find such reasonable discussion anywhere today. I appreciate that we can do that here. Thank you all. 🙂

  4. I’ve often wanted to go back in time and fix my mistakes, but then I wonder if by changing things I will miss some of the good stuff that has happen Anyway probably all I’d do is invest in Apple and write a book about a boy Wizard named maybe.. Larry Cotter..

  5. I have sometimes started to wish that Nightingale never got mixed up with Mr X. But then I remember that if she hadn’t, we wouldn’t have our Little Guy. I cannot (do not want to) wish him away.

  6. The West’s act of suicide, by Dennis Prager:

… The West has been in moral decline since World War I — the calamity that led not only to World War II but to the death of national identity and Christianity in most of Europe. There has always been one exception — the United States. But now that is ending. The seeds of America’s decline have been sown since the beginning of the 20th century; and they came to fruition with the post–World War II generation — the baby boomers.

Radical and aggressive secularism and atheism have replaced religion in virtually every school and throughout public life in America. …

… There is no way to prove that God exists. But what is provable is what happens when societies stop believing in God. They commit suicide.

  7. Donna, the left will say that in those days there was racism and sexism and all kinds of phobias so it was not a morally superior time and they were not a morally superior generation.

  8. KBells,

Part of that is my fault. I’m kinda scatter-brained. I’m alllll over the place. 😦

Focus can be an issue. I blame the medications, because it can’t possibly be that I am in fact, scatter-brained. 🙂

  9. Your tax dollars, hard at work….. 😦

“Imprisoned former Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning has learned that she will receive gender transition surgery, her lawyer told CNN, in what could make her the first US prison inmate to undergo such a procedure.

Manning, a transgender woman, was convicted of stealing and disseminating 750,000 pages of documents and videos to WikiLeaks.

The former US Army soldier is serving a 35-year sentence at Fort Leavenworth, an all-male Army prison in eastern Kansas, despite her request to transfer to a civilian prison. Her lawyers say she has been denied medical treatment for her gender dysphoria, a condition in which there is a conflict between a person’s physical sex and the gender he or she identifies with.”

Hey what’s another 1/2 mil on the taxpayers so he can fund his delusions? After all, it’s not like we’re not funding worse, right?…….

    It’s disgusting.

  10. Colin Powell is the next victim of leaks. He pretty much hates everyone. Trump’s an idiot, Clinton he respects and will endorse, but it’s obvious he doesn’t much care for her. And he says Clinton hates Obama, and is still in disbelief over losing to him in 08.

  11. And the DNC gets hit again. Turns out they were doing pay to play for ambassadorships and federal positions.

“Now it’s never been a secret that some ambassadorships were given out to donors. But it’s perhaps never been as blatant as this with the amounts listed and the position given, with even major Ambassadorships involved, not to mention significant Federal positions, like Chairman of the FCC and positions with the DOJ.”

“Karol Mason donated $856,000 to the DNC and Obama appoints her as Assistant Attorney General, Office of Justice Programs. Mason is also the person who changed terminology at the Justice Department, saying they would no longer refer to ‘felons’ and ‘convicts’ as those were damaging terms to use.”

    It’s all for sale.

  12. I appreciate the conversation we had here yesterday. Sometimes I do not get my thoughts clearly formed. That is when I have to call in my Editor so she can tell all of you what I meant to say. Thank you Cheryl. How many years has this been going on now?

  13. Yeah, ironic isn’t it. Men who served honorably die waiting on lists for treatment, yet this freak show traitor gets to chose elective surgery and their all over it. It’s disgusting.
