Prayer Requests 2-28-14

Anyone have a request or praise to share today?

Psalm 36

¹The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.

He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast.

How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.

  1. Thanks and praise to the Lord for Forrest being home with his mom again. Also, thank you for a lawyer. I pray all will work out for the best for everyone involved and that this little boy will no longer be USED by anyone. Abundant love, wisdom and patience for you, Karen and your family.

Now for some sad news. Remember our dear friend EYG from WMB days? Her beloved father has passed away. Here is the obituary she co-wrote & posted on Facebook…

    ” Dr. Luis Yarzagaray

    “July 30, 1932 – February 26, 2014

“Dr. Luis Yarzagaray, dearly beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN on February 26, 2014, at 81 years of age. A native of Arjona, Colombia, son of John Yarzagaray and Dolores Cogollo, he graduated from the University of Cartagena Medical School where he met the love of his life, fellow top-student, Everildes nee Polo of Barranquilla, Colombia.

“The couple married in April of 1962 and moved to Chicago, Illinois, to practice what became two very illustrious medical careers. Dr. Luis was Chief Neurosurgeon, and Professor of Neurosurgery at Loyola University and the University of Chicago in the United States and at his alma mater in Colombia, SA. He authored numerous textbooks and pioneered cutting edge neurosurgical techniques. Dr. Yarzagaray went on to become a highly decorated and sought after expert in his field; he was neurosurgeon on call for US Presidents Reagan and Bush Sr.when in the Chicago area.

“He performed countless charitable surgeries in several countries, and returned to Colombia as a neurosurgeon and professor for nearly a decade after his retirement in Illinois.

“In 2010, he relocated to Tennessee to be near family and founded Nashville Neurological Care Clinic, a thriving medical practice where he treated patients as recently as last Friday.

“He is survived by his loving wife, five adoring daughters, five wonderful sons-in-law and twenty-one grandchildren who brought him great joy.

“Dr. Yarzagaray’s family and friends sorely grieve the loss of what they know was one of this world’s truly great men: rich in love, Christ-like compassion, and generosity.”

  3. slightly shook up, but no one else is on at this time. I went to school today and saw a door open, but thought a teacher was there and did not go check. I knew if she wasn’t there, I did not want to surprise any rascals (robbers). an hour or so later I did see that someone was there and it was not a staff member so called security and the principal. They had cut the screen and bent some bars. I noticed that there was not a computer in the room any longer.
