Prayer Requests 1-5-13

Who can we pray for today?

Psalm 121:1-4

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

  1. Please pray that the Lord will take my Aunt Annie Home quickly. She so wants to go.

    Also, please pray for my dad and stepmom. Stress seems to make them more forgetful and Dad is responsible for so much of the details of Aunt Annie’s funeral and finances and all the stuff that goes along with a death.

    I’m very thankful that we can share our burdens here with you all.

  2. Kare….I am praying our Lord will embrace Aunt Annie into His arms soon.
    Lord, please welcome your child home in your time. As she draws her last breath, may she know the fullness of your salvation and enter before you peacefully and sweetly. Please give Kare’s Dad the presence of thought and clarity of thinking during this emotional time of loss. May they sense your presence in the details which need to be taken care of for the funeral arrangements…thank you Lord for your watchful care over this dear family…comfort them now and evermore….Amen

  3. I posted an agreement prayer earlier but somehow it got lost in transmission. We are back home and back to computer connection troubles.

    I will second donna j’s “Amen.”
