Good morning. It is refreshingly cool here this morning. We had a couple of storms go through last night leaving us just a bit short of two inches. It was so needed. My daughters were not so blessed where they live. I hope you all have a good day.
missing Chas here. I always knew if I stayed up late in png and was able to post first that Chas would ask me why I was up so late. He knew exactly what the time difference was and I couldn’t get away with a thing. So thankful to Janice for making the meet up happen. It was a treasure of a day
Jo, you made that meet-up happen by suggesting it. I still remember Chas not quite understanding at first who Art and I were because I think he had expected you’d show up with a lady missionaty friend or some such since you had wanted to surprise him with more unexpected blog friends. It was a great time having lunch at the restaurant and then visiting at their home. We got to see his computer that he used daily to chat with us.
The two missing girls were found physically unharmed in a trailer and the kidnapper had to appear in court this morning. I have not seen an update. She had a warrant out for her arrest for not showing up in court for the previous kidnapping charge.
I did hear that she had been on a moms thread and had offered to sit when the parents first knew of her, but they waited a year before using her.
Oh what a treasured photo of some very dear friends!!! I love that you all got together! We missed Chas and Elvera by “that much” when we went to Myrtle Beach on our 40th anniversary. It rained horribly and our plane landed late in Charlotte…we were sad to have missed the meetup we had planned.
Thankful the girls were found Janice…a traumatic thing to happen to them. Praying for healing of their little hearts and minds.
Chas had waited a while in his car because he saw three folks get out of the car and was only expecting two. Finally he came into the restaurant and joined us. He couldn’t believe it when I introduced Janice and Art. Best surprise ever!!

Ah, the memories. I hadn’t realized that Chas had the same birthday as D2. She turned 39 yesterday.
And Late Anniversary Greetings to Kevin and Mrs. B! I wondered where you’d been, Kevin. Hadn’t seen your posts lately, not that I get here every day.

About the missing girls . . . their rescue on body cam. The trailer was one pulled behind a truck, not a big one like I had assumed.
