I felt like I was hit by a Mac truck yesterday. Sleep is such a restorative. I must have been really tired, because I slept better than the usual. It is a beautiful sunny, fairly cool day. The lawn is so tall because of rain and it is predicted for the next week plus again. I suspect a whole lot of mowing will be happening today.
Morning! Cooler this am but alas no rain. They keep telling us we’re are now in the rainy season but our grass begs to differ! Brown and crunchy is the land!
Daughter and I will making the 18 hour cross country trip this week.. not looking forward to the drive but time spent with her shall be the blessing.
Prayers for all to heal in a clean and timely manner, Aj.
Janice, I just spent way too much time online to set up online payments for insurance. A young person could have probably done it very quickly.
We had a friend just get defrauded of 9,000 dollars because of a check washing scheme. Law enforcement recommended paying in cash or online because this is so common now. They suspect people in the PO because of the frequency. This friend put the envelope right in the local PO (as we always do) to send it to Chicago. He will get his money back (he had put a stop payment at some point) but it may take weeks. This could be devastating to someone living paycheck to paycheck. Imagine if you had other checks out and they bounced! Lord, I pray all these crooks are caught and deported or jailed if citizens.
