Good morning, Kathaleena! Good morning, Wanderers.
A wandering black cat visited me this morning. It eventually made its way to where I sat and before long jumped into my lap and began making bread on my sweatshirt for a few moments. I did not pet it, not knowing if it might be diseased, but it looked like a healthy young cat. I felt sorry for it because sometimes people do things to black cats around Halloween, and also coyotes get the cats around here.
We have no cats (they would not be good because of allergies). However, we have had neighbor cats travel through regularly. I was not happy with the one who constantly wanted to use a garden as its litter box. I was happy with those who caught critters and took them away.
I had heard about your warmth up there, Kathaleena. It is very pleasant here. I walked again a bit ago and thought what a difference the cooler weather makes in making me want to walk longer distances.
Many animal shelters will not allow the adoption of black cats around Halloween because of what might happen to them. So sad that they have to think of that.
We are in global missions month and had a fabulous message from a missionary who was in Ukraine and is now in the US. He and his wife have an outreach to Russian speak8ng people.
Again, I can’t edit and, I get cut off from finishing my post. Since the missionary has been in the area where Tychicus serves I think they likely know of each other. I will try to post the message on the political thread so Tychicus can see it.
Good morning; good weekend to all.

Once upon a time our black cat came home with a patch of black hair shaved off its back.
This is the month to keep them indoors–or get more colorful cats.
M–whose current cat is gray.

I definitely like to walk more in cooler weather. I love to go in the cool evening or morning. We will break weather records this weekend, no doubt.
