  1. Good morning. We are told to expect rain today and I heard the roll of thunder when I was outside earlier. Supposed to get up to fifty five, currently fifty three.

Our poppies appear to be doing fine. Currently enjoying the blooms of the Idaho state flower: syringa (Philadelphus Lewisii), not to be confused with the lilac. It is also known as mock orange.

  2. Morning! Beautiful happy flowers up there on the header! I need to turn over my front garden as many of my perennials have decided to quit perennialing!

Another hot day expected with wind…not loving the combination

  3. Yesterday I described Jo inaccurately. I called her a retired missionary to PNG but should have said recalled as she continues her mission work with grandchildren, children, various community members and friends.

  4. Wow, thanks so much, Mumsee. I am beginning to find my place here. I am not sure that she knew what she was saying, but yesterday, my youngest granddaughter said that life was boring before I came home.
