“The key point about the FBI’s “prohibited access” black hole is that files don’t just get hidden, they get ghosted. A keyword search won’t return a message saying you lack clearance, it will return a false negative, as if the records simply don’t exist.

That’s a massive problem, not just for Brady obligations, but for Congressional oversight, FOIA requests, and even the FBI’s own investigations.

As the agent who exposed Nellie Ohr’s lies so eloquently explained, agents are misled into believing nothing exists, rather than being told the material is restricted. The constitutional implications—for due process, transparency, and the integrity of the justice system—are enormous.”

  2. And to think, so many on our side gave Mueller credibility and supported his crimes.

“1. Border Security: No legislation passed or proposed to fully fund the border wall, codify an end to catch-and-release, or penalize sanctuary cities, despite Trump’s executive actions.

    2. Government Spending: Failed to introduce bills slashing federal programs or defunding agencies like the Department of Education, allowing bloated budgets to persist. No bills passed to codify DOGE cuts. In fact they have not CODIFIED ONE executive order.

    3. Big Tech Accountability: No laws introduced to reform Section 230 or address social media censorship of conservative voices, leaving Big Tech unchecked.

    4. Deep State Reform: No legislation proposed to overhaul FISA, limit DOJ/FBI overreach, or protect whistleblowers, missing chances to lock in Trump’s anti-swamp EOs.

    5. Election Integrity: Delayed or weakened efforts to pass robust voter ID laws or expand the SAVE Act, leaving election security gaps unadressed….?

  6. Chaos erupted in Minneapolis on Tuesday as federal agents executed court-authorized raids on two Taqueria y Birrieria las Cuatro Milpas locations, uncovering a massive drug smuggling, labor trafficking, and money laundering operation. While law enforcement carried out their duties, far-left agitators descended on the scene, hurling insults at officers and even physically assaulting one in a brazen display of lawlessness. The liberal media, ever eager to spin the narrative, downplayed the criminal activity and instead amplified the protests, proving once again their allegiance to chaos over justice.

The leftist democrats have lost their ever lovin’ minds!!

We too had fraud with dominion machines in CO… Jenna Griswold is among the crookedest of crooks….but Tina Peters is in prison. Go figure!!

  9. This is out of control and this star is disgusting

“Moreover, the court finds that deportation without process could work irreparable harm and an order must issue without notice due to the urgency this situation presents,” Gallagher wrote.

The judge also set a hearing on a request for a temporary restraining order for June 13 at the federal courthouse in Denver.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced Tuesday that Immigaration and Customs Enforcement had taken into custody Soliman’s wife and children and said they were being processed for removal proceedings from the U.S. Four of the children are minors, and the fifth is 18 years old.

  10. Big bills are rarely beautiful — budget bills should be sparse and focused on money in and money out.

I was amused to see MTG shocked about an AI provision in the bill. Umm did she not read the bill?? Probably not. To be fair i doubt half the house read the bill.

Musk’s outrage is amusing — sure it might have something to do with the EV subsidy and the lack of DOGE reforms but he’s been running around Washington without a security pass digging into all sorts of data and now he expects the gov’t to function properly; he just finished trying to hollow it out.

It’s been really hard to take anything seriously coming from DC. Its hard to decide what is more comedic — the players or the policy; so I’ve refrained from commenting or even following.

  11. Protests against ICE and attempts to interfere or stop ICE from working are not surprising. ICE and other agencies have lost the respect and support for at least half the population and of course in some areas its at least 66%.

Once the admin and ICE stopped following due process and rule of law and then ignoring the courts, why would ordinary people respect federal institutions. If the administration won’t respect institutions why should the people. A breakdown in law and order is entirely predictable.

  12. I just came across a commentary where MAGA types called the Ukrainian attack on Russian airfields – a Pearl Harbour attack. Historical analogies are rarely correct but this one is obviously wrong.

Japan bombed Pearl Harbor when there were no active hostilities between Japan and the US. Ukraine and Russia have been in a state of war for at least 3 years — any military installation in either country should expect an attack. Russia however feels that the war should only be fought outside its country — feelings don’t count in a state of war.

This was an absolutely brilliant low tech attack by Ukraine. These are both difficult to carry out and difficult to stop. And now Russia has to up their defences and security just when they want to start their summer offensive.

Every time Ukraine manages to bring the war to Russia, the Russian gov’t and some western conservatives claim this increased instability and nuclear retaliation. It’s nonsensical. The Russians know this but they also know this type of rhetoric works on some US Republicans. In this particular case, the attack actually lowered nuclear capability.

As the summer offensive begins, Ukraines best chance to mute the attacks lies in damaging infrastructure ie supply, transportation and communication since they don’t have the same manpower resources as Russia on the front line.

As for intelligence failures — its hard to detect these types of attacks. It’s doubtful the Americans or even the Europeans had any fore knowledge of the attack. If the Russians didn’t see it coming its doubtful anyone else could. Most analysts believe the Ukrainians have been far more secretive since the Trump administration begun (as have the Europeans). Other nations have very little confidence in the current US administration to keep a secret. Among other incidents, Hesgeth has been a disaster that way.

  13. NJ — how do you determine someone’s status without due process — Judge Scalia, no leftist, said exactly that when he along with the rest of the supreme court determined that all immigrants are accorded due process.

  14. Regarding the process for individuals residing in the U.S. without legal authorization, Justice Antonin Scalia, a prominent figure in American jurisprudence, held strong views on their legal status and associated rights

. He believed that individuals with no constitutional right to remain in the United States should not have the right to be released back into the country and argued that illegal immigrants don’t have a right to liberty preventing indefinite detention.

Scalia was a vocal critic of what he perceived as lax federal enforcement of immigration laws and believed states, like Arizona, should have the power to protect their borders by excluding individuals residing without legal authorization. He argued that states should not be powerless in the face of federal policies of non-enforcement and that the federal government’s reluctance to enforce immigration laws left states vulnerable.
