  1. Sounds miserable, Janice.

We’re (so far) spared with highs in the low to mid-70s (and getting down to 60ish at night). I think our humidity has dropped, also.

  2. We have enjoyed a brief lull and are back to ninety five today, ninety nine tomorrow. But then back to the eighties again. The rain helped with the fires and cleared some smoke.

Meanwhile, son and family are on their way to a hike in the Seven Devils, before dinner with son’s childhood friend. Great to see them, they were ever so encouraging!

  3. So glad you had that time with them, Mumsee.

Dj, I am glad someone is having pleasant weather. This morning the weather gal said we got 14″ more rain in July than normal. That’s what gave us cooler weather.

  4. Regarding praying with my grands. The older girl is a believer as is her entire family. I was with her and the two youngest and felt it would be good to pray as they were so discouraged over the smoke covering our town. God moved me to pray as we just briefly stopped along the sidewalk.

Just got back from pt. She is so good. At the end they do probes and electrical impulses. and they ice the hip at the same time. I asked for and got ice on the knee and foot too. I realized that I was feeling pain in both of those places and the ice was so nice.

    Praying for Aj

  5. 90 degrees here right now. It’s hotter south and north of us and the fires continue to burn. They removed possible rain showers from the forecast 😢 Husband returning from Leadville saw several fire trucks flying past him heading west! We are praying for rain!

  6. Daughter in law was hoping to get a trip to the park with all of the children tomorrow in Boise, but it is supposed to be 106-108 there. We warned them it was hot here.

Meanwhile, we enjoyed a nice trip out to sit by the lake yesterday. I got to hike the discovery trail with son and grandson while she sat and chatted with my dad. So refreshing!

  7. I hope all is well with AJ. Since he probably won’t get the new thread up before I go to work in an hour, I’ll post this here.
