Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 119:49-64
ז Zayin
49 Remember your word to your servant,
for you have given me hope.
50 My comfort in my suffering is this:
Your promise preserves my life.
51 The arrogant mock me unmercifully,
but I do not turn from your law.
52 I remember, Lord, your ancient laws,
and I find comfort in them.
53 Indignation grips me because of the wicked,
who have forsaken your law.
54 Your decrees are the theme of my song
wherever I lodge.
55 In the night, Lord, I remember your name,
that I may keep your law.
56 This has been my practice:
I obey your precepts.
ח Heth
57 You are my portion, Lord;
I have promised to obey your words.
58 I have sought your face with all my heart;
be gracious to me according to your promise.
59 I have considered my ways
and have turned my steps to your statutes.
60 I will hasten and not delay
to obey your commands.
61 Though the wicked bind me with ropes,
I will not forget your law.
62 At midnight I rise to give you thanks
for your righteous laws.
63 I am a friend to all who fear you,
to all who follow your precepts.
64 The earth is filled with your love, Lord;
teach me your decrees.
Court this morning at nine fifteen, real time.

Praying, Mumsee, and for your requests in the recent past.
Praises with Anon’s school teacher friend! And on the birth of Kathaleena’s great granddaughter!
Thank you all very much for the prayers about the piano family situation the last few weeks. I mentioned I drafted an email to the three parties, but wanted to sit on it a bit, tweak as necessary, then (maybe) send it.
Long story short, I ended up not sending it. The studio co-owner who handles stuff like this when things get out of hand went to bat for me today. She fully backed me up, and they knew she meant business, and things got resolved within literally less than one hour of the time she sent out the email to all the involved parties. I am thankful to God for my colleague’s intervention in the matter.
Now that it’s resolved, I can laugh about parts of the saga that got utterly ridiculous. I had laid out two options for the family to choose between, but they wanted their own way, except they didn’t know how to proceed with the plan they wanted, so the apparent leader of the family group bombarded the studio and me with phone calls, texts, and emails asking us how to do it their own way!
You can’t make this stuff up! 🙂
I ignored those messages and waited until my colleague was back from vacation, and she put a most polite kibosh on their ideas today. 😀
Praise be to God, and thank you again for having lifted this situation to the Lord.

DJ, yes indeed. I wrote a thank you note to the co-owner today and dropped it off when 6th Arrow went to her guitar lesson. In the note I wrote what a burden I felt had been lifted off my shoulders after she’d advocated for me.
And the children will still be my students, for which I am thankful. They are good kids and there is more I’d like to teach them before I head into semi/retirement. There was a chance they could have been dismissed if the situation became worse, and it would have gotten worse if the adults had rejected the owner’s directive. They wisely chose to listen and cooperate this time.
Thank you again for your ministry of prayer, everyone.
Blessings to all,
