  1. Good morning all. Another beautiful day here. Husband is off to Lewiston with the grandchildren and their nanny (fifteen) so it will be quiet around here for a while.

  2. I had an unexpected one-hour deal on Overflowing Faith and sent a bunch of you Ebook copies. If you’ve got a Kindle, you can read it there.

For the rest of you who bought copies, thank you. I did not know this opportunity was coming. If you’ll send me an email, I’ll mail you a signed book plate with my thanks.

This has been very stressful for the last umpteen weeks, not to mention so far today.

God is good through it all–but it’s been bewildering and I will be thankful, so thankful, when July is here. I’ve got another 10 days of stressful, chaotic events to enjoy.

    🙂

  3. We had another 3 inches of rain in about an hour yesterday. That’s 7.6 inches of rain in the last 5 days. Needless to say, we are waterlogged. Praying there is not a big wind or some of our large spruce might just tip over, the ground is so soft.

  4. Son turned seventeen while I was in Boise. I had purchased a set of books for him, the Left behind: the kids series. I realize that series is frowned upon by many but I enjoy it and tell them according to many Christians, it is not the true story so read it as a fun story and read the Bible for Truth. anyway, I am having him read them aloud to me. His reading has really improved. Great to see. So we may not need to go through the entire series together but we might because it is fun. It also gives us plenty to talk about.

  5. That is great fun, Mumsee! One of my really good memories of homeschooling was to do a unit on Pilgtom’s Progress with Wes and two of his friends at our little church. We each took a part to play and did a dramatic reading of it weekly. One mother said her son would never read aloud, but he really got into doing that dramatic reading with friends. If any of you have the opportunity to do it with a small group of young prople, you will be blessed!

I eas prompted by a memory of doing a dramatic reading when I was in school. I got to be the part of the Ghost From Christmas past. That was great for a large classroom setting.

  6. Janice, I have heard that those bed fumes can be a problem. Thank God it is summertime. Our guest bed will be full in a couple of weeks, so hopefully, the fumes won’t kill us.

Finally talked to someone at the company. Made an appointment for delivery next Monday. That is the only day they are in this area. These mattresses used to be replaced by local businesses. So much easier that way.

I just filled out a very long online form for an oral surgeon for my husband. All this info used to be filled out by the medical personnel. It took quite a while. This way they save labor costs and share no blame for errors. Of course, there is no decrease in the bill.

We finally got an estimate on new gutters and they should be put in, relatively soon. That will be a great relief for me.

  7. Don’t you just love doing all the private medical info online now? I figure hackers can find out whatever whenever wherever so all the hush hush to do over medical records is just a farce these days.

  8. OK so I checked on the blog email.

It appears Microsoft is trying to extort more money out of me. I refuse to pay for email, just won’t do it.

So until I figure out a way around it, short of deleting all the emails in it, you will have to use my personal email for photos and what not.

  9. A couple came by walking with a rolling frame on the street and stopped by our yard. They saw me and asked about the door and old wood at the street. They picked it up with my enthusiastic approval. Very thankful they got it before this popup shower!
