Psalm 119:17-32

17 Be good to your servant while I live,
that I may obey your word.
18 Open my eyes that I may see
wonderful things in your law.
19 I am a stranger on earth;
do not hide your commands from me.
20 My soul is consumed with longing
for your laws at all times.
21 You rebuke the arrogant, who are accursed,
those who stray from your commands.
22 Remove from me their scorn and contempt,
for I keep your statutes.
23 Though rulers sit together and slander me,
your servant will meditate on your decrees.
24 Your statutes are my delight;
they are my counselors.

25 I am laid low in the dust;
preserve my life according to your word.
26 I gave an account of my ways and you answered me;
teach me your decrees.
27 Cause me to understand the way of your precepts,
that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds.

29 Keep me from deceitful ways;
be gracious to me and teach me your law.
30 I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I have set my heart on your laws.
31 I hold fast to your statutes, Lord;

for you have broadened my understanding.

Please pray for safe driving for Nightingale. She is driving back from someplace in northern Massachusetts. She stopped to get something to drink for her sore throat, and texted me that Massachusetts doesn’t seem to like lines or street lights on their roads, which makes it very hard to see as she drives home in a pouring rain at night. 😦

Prayers for Nightingale to stay safe, and for you, Kizzie, as you await her safe retufn home.
Prayers, Mumsee, for a perfect delivery, helped as needed in the best of ways. May all be safe and healthy and may all settle quickly into new routines required for thriving of all in the family.

Nightingale arrived safely home just as I was about to go to bed last night. Thank you for prayers.
Another request for Nightingale – She has been dealing with a sore throat for over a week now, and since yesterday, her voice is very quiet, kind of like laryngitis, but not quite. Along with that, she has been coughing a lot at night, and getting little sleep.
The doctor at the urgent care place she went to a couple days ago said that it is most probably a virus, so she should just treat the symptoms. Please pray that this will ease up soon. Her vacation goes through Tuesday, so she will be back to work on Wednesday, and it would be nice if she could be well-rested by then. (Although, since she deals with insomnia, she is seldom well-rested. 😦 )

Update on Jessica. (Recently, one I missed mentioned that there had been no movement on her left side.)
“You guys we have purposeful movement in the left leg!!! It started as a spontaneous jerking last night that progressed into purposeful movement this morning!!!! We serve a BIG God y’all who does REAL miracles. I’m beside myself right now, thank you for all the prayers. Please pray over her left arm to start moving next. We are getting there!!! GOD IS SOOO GOOD!!!”
