  1. 😦 My thyroid is a bit off, which explains the anxiety I have been feeling. Ironically, I wonder if it is the longer bible study, I have been doing that has brought that about. I delay having a cup of coffee for a longer time. Consistency matters with my meds. At any rate, meds are being adjusted and we shall see in a couple of months how that helps. So thankful for the doctor and meds when we need it.

😦 Poor grandson is missing his soccer tournament because of a leg injury. Of course, these small disappointments lead to being able to deal with the bigger disappointments of life. Always difficult for the parents to see their children deal with it. Such a picture of our heavenly Father.

😦 A fellow who jammed with my husband passed away. His main caretaker was a widow who lived in the same senior housing. He was in another assisted living facility, but she drove over (in spite of her own severe health issues) to make sure he ate and help him. She is also taking care of all the arrangements and dispersion of his few possessions. What a picture of grace she is! The fellow himself is a picture of God’s grace. He had a rocky beginning, but loved the Lord so much and was ready to go.

πŸ™‚ We had a leak in the copper pipe leading to the outside faucet. A plumber was called and came in a very timely manner. The fix was made quickly. It is a relief to finally find a company we will surely use again.

  4. πŸ™‚ And: “If you’re falling off a cliff, strong faith in a weak branch is fatally inferior to weak faith in a strong branch. Salvation is not finally based on the strength of your faith, but on the object of your faith.”
