Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 115
1 Not to us, Lord, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness.
2 Why do the nations say,
“Where is their God?”
3 Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever pleases him.
4 But their idols are silver and gold,
made by human hands.
5 They have mouths, but cannot speak,
eyes, but cannot see.
6 They have ears, but cannot hear,
noses, but cannot smell.
7 They have hands, but cannot feel,
feet, but cannot walk,
nor can they utter a sound with their throats.
8 Those who make them will be like them,
and so will all who trust in them.
9 All you Israelites, trust in the Lord—
he is their help and shield.
10 House of Aaron, trust in the Lord—
he is their help and shield.
11 You who fear him, trust in the Lord—
he is their help and shield.
12 The Lord remembers us and will bless us:
He will bless his people Israel,
he will bless the house of Aaron,
13 he will bless those who fear the Lord—
small and great alike.
14 May the Lord cause you to flourish,
both you and your children.
15 May you be blessed by the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
16 The highest heavens belong to the Lord,
but the earth he has given to mankind.
17 It is not the dead who praise the Lord,
those who go down to the place of silence;
18 it is we who extol the Lord,
both now and forevermore.
Praise the Lord.
Lately, I have had a growing feeling of anxiety (and even some depression that comes and goes) over certain things that need to be done in this house, Nightingale’s procrastination (she recently mentioned that she is ignoring some stuff for the time being, and is not proud of that), and how the current situation leaves me with a lack of privacy.
There is also a practical matter (that is also contributing to the anxiety) that I am trying to figure out, but I don’t want to write about those details here. Maybe I will get around to writing about it on the daily thread.
Anyway, please pray for wisdom for me, along with more peace in my heart. I really am trying not to let the anxiety take over by entrusting it all to God, but the anxiety rears up every now and then, and today is one of those days.
Thank you and God bless!

Praying Kizzie❣️
It is not unreasonable to want privacy in your home. We are all wired differently and I happen to need privacy too. I tend to get a tad bit anxious when company comes. Even though I enjoy seeing them (well some visitors yes some oh no!) I can feel quite invaded when they stay toooo long!
Praying for a solution for you and calm in the process.

I understand completely. I am having the same issue myself only with a husband who is not as bothered by things as I am and tends to procrastinate. Also, it is almost impossible to just find people to do things that need to be done. I hear it all the time from other seniors. We are willing to pay, but those who do the work are always booked up.
I was told my kitchen would be done in April. I finally messaged the contractor a week ago and heard nothing. Today, I messaged him again. He did apologize and did say he dropped the ball. No, plan yet for when he will do it. Since I personally know him and that he is a Christian, I expect more that his word is his word. I do know he is busy, but he offered to do the job himself when I had just asked for a reference. I just hope all the timing will work out for him and us.
