Psalm 92
A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day.
1 It is good to praise the Lord
and make music to your name, O Most High,
2 proclaiming your love in the morning
and your faithfulness at night,
3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre
and the melody of the harp.
4 For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord;
I sing for joy at what your hands have done.
5 How great are your works, Lord,
how profound your thoughts!
6 Senseless people do not know,
fools do not understand,
7 that though the wicked spring up like grass
and all evildoers flourish,
they will be destroyed forever.
8 But you, Lord, are forever exalted.
9 For surely your enemies, Lord,
surely your enemies will perish;
all evildoers will be scattered.
10 You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox;
fine oils have been poured on me.
11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries;
my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.
12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
13 planted in the house of the Lord,
they will flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They will still bear fruit in old age,
they will stay fresh and green,
15 proclaiming, “The Lord is upright;
he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”
Wandering Views 
Please pray for Daphne. She is an older saint who just came home from the hospital only to fall and break her hip. She is currently in surgery. She and her brother live in the old family homestead. Both are trying to stay there, but the writing is on the wall. He has health issues, too. They cared for their mother for many years there. They love the Lord.

And in so doing, growing closer to the Lord myself as He has called us to be people of prayer and we come to Him with our petitions and praises in obedience to Him. May God be glorified in all our lives.

Dear Father God,
Thank You for the hope You supply that we can trust in You for provision when we intercede.
I lift up the continuing need AJ has for healing, for pain management, and for ease of mind during this difficult time. Please give him Your peace and comfort as he rests in You during his recouperation. Please be his strength at those moments when he feels weak. Please help Cheryl as she assists in his recovery. Bless her with increasing knowledge and skill to do what is needed and patience in the waiting for things to improve.
I lift up Daphne as she has great need in having the hip repair and recovery. Please bless her brother in the ways You know he has need. Thank You that they know Jesus as Lord so they have all the benefits of that divine relationship.
I also lift up Heidi having heart surgery today and her husband who needs a bone marrow match. Please provide miracles for them.
You know all the others we are praying for, Lord. I have only listed the tip of the iceberg of prayer needs for this one day.
You are bigger than all the icebergs, God!
