It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget to pray for The Gambia.
Anyone else have something to share?
Psalm 87
Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. A song.
1 He has founded his city on the holy mountain.
2 The Lord loves the gates of Zion
more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are said of you,
city of God:
4 “I will record Rahab and Babylon
among those who acknowledge me—
Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush—
and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”
5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said,
“This one and that one were born in her,
and the Most High himself will establish her.”
6 The Lord will write in the register of the peoples:
“This one was born in Zion.”
7 As they make music they will sing,
“All my fountains are in you.”
Praying for Jessica and AJ this morning. And Mumsee and Mike.
God is merciful and compassionate to see and hear our cry.

Heavenly Father,
I lift up AJ to You today as he anticipates tomorrow. Please give him peace of mind as he puts full trust in You and Your good plans for him. May his mind stay focused on You. May his heart fill with greater knowledge and sense of Your great love for him. May he feel good physically as he goes to have the samples taken. I pray that the suspicious areas have cleared through the healing power of Jesus. I pray for Your glory to be on display. Please dear Lord, bless AJ in ways that only You can provide so You alone get all the glory. I also pray that others may benefit through what is learned from AJ’ s medical situation. You are good to do more than we can think or imagine. Please do not let any of the sufferings be wasted. I praise You for how You are growing good fruitful qualities in AJ through these trials and tribulations. Please provide for little pain and super fast healing. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

Yesterday and this morning, I was having a bit of an emotional breakdown which was precipitated by a quite brief but tense exchange with Nightingale. It had me feeling depressed and even somewhat distraught the rest of yesterday and into this morning, not merely by our disagreement, but by what it characterized. (Sorry if lack of details makes this too cryptic.) After some prayer, I am feeling better some, but not too encouraged yet.
Please pray for God to get through to Nightingale in so many ways. To soften her heart and lead her to salvation most of all, but also to soften a hard edge that has been growing in her, and of course, for her to determine to get going on a number of things that need doing (even if only one by one over a period of time). And please pray for me to have more patience and to trust God more with all of this, and for that peace that passes understanding in this situation.
Oh, and wisdom of what to say and what not to say to my beloved but sometimes-difficult-to-talk-to older daughter. Thank you.

Praying, Kizzie. Keep in mind, she is living in your house and profiting from free child care and dog care. You are more than doing your part. She can step up on the much needed repairs, making a much needed division of the house so the relationships can grow rather than deteriorate. Good fences make good neighbors applies in this situation.

Heartbreaking to consider about the women, so shut-off:
Prayer Focus
Peoples of Yemen
In a movement of God among Yemenis, an estimated 80% of the believers are men. Why are so many more men responding to the gospel than women? In an environment like that of Yemen, where there is little access to the truth for anyone, there are even more barriers to women hearing it. Generally, it is not culturally appropriate for men to interact with women outside their family, thus making it virtually impossible for believing men to share truth with women not related to them. Women also rarely relate to other women outside their family and neighborhood. Also, just under half of the adult female population is nonliterate. Even if they had the Word, they would not be able to read it. In addition, women also are less likely to look for the gospel on the internet or on social media. Please ask God to make a way inside the culture for men to share the gospel with women. Pray for Jesus to reveal Himself to women in dreams and visions. Pray for women who are believers to have boldness to share the gospel with those outside their family

Praying for the real. May God go before and alongside and behind. Preparing the way, bringing peace and wisdom, following with healing. May God be glorified as He enfolds the real in His Love and joy and peace. May He speak to others through the real’s response.
