  1. This current regime has put us in a terrible place, and the vultures are circling…

    The bottom line is that the US has rejected God, and we are now in a freefall. His hedge of protection no longer exists, and we are in the process of being ‘dethroned’ as the world’s superpower.

    It’s not a pretty picture, but tyranny and a global communist government are on the rise…

    We know where our allegiance lies – may we be ever faithful!

  2. I suspect the vultures have been loosed to circle for quite a while and through perhaps several or even many government administrations. 😦

    Unclear what God is doing (he is doing something, always), but may we – as Ty said – remain faithful and see (and use) our circumstances, and those being endured by our neighbors, to His ultimate will.

    Kizzie, I saw that story. Perilous times, or so it seems.

  4. Our county school board voted to hire the guy from Chicago who is currently overseeing a K-8 district of 6,500 students to move into our county superintendent position covering K-12th with 92,000 students. He says his leadership skills are transferable from small to super-sized. We have had 3 superintendents in the past 4 years and each time they don’t work out, big taxpayer bucks are paid to end contracts.
    Students and teachers lose the funding meant for them. The Georgia state superintendent recommended against this choice. A sign of the times. So sad.

  5. Now, now MTG……

    Can’t be speaking truth. Neither side will stand for that. 🙂

    She’s right here too, so she had to be silenced. Myorkis is a liar, and was lying again today, under oath, but neither side cares, they only care that someone pointed out.

  7. Like MTG and I said, he is a liar. That may be inconvenient for some, but true nonetheless…

  9. Move along….

    Nothing to see here, just more corrupt, compromised Democrats…

  10. Imploding.

    Perhaps the single-word description of this U.S. national era?

    This poem (partially quoted below) I remember from college seems to come to mind more and more often when I read the headlines or just gaze for a few moments at the political landscape …

    … The Left!/The Right!/the Extremes/and all the rest of us: hands simply thrown in the air … in prayer.

    Lord, have mercy.

    Welcome to the upcoming 2024 election cycle.

    ~ Turning and turning in the widening gyre
    The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity.

    Surely some revelation is at hand … ~
