Psalm 79
A psalm of Asaph.
1 O God, the nations have invaded your inheritance;
they have defiled your holy temple,
they have reduced Jerusalem to rubble.
2 They have left the dead bodies of your servants
as food for the birds of the sky,
the flesh of your own people for the animals of the wild.
3 They have poured out blood like water
all around Jerusalem,
and there is no one to bury the dead.
4 We are objects of contempt to our neighbors,
of scorn and derision to those around us.
5 How long, Lord? Will you be angry forever?
How long will your jealousy burn like fire?
6 Pour out your wrath on the nations
that do not acknowledge you,
on the kingdoms
that do not call on your name;
7 for they have devoured Jacob
and devastated his homeland.
8 Do not hold against us the sins of past generations;
may your mercy come quickly to meet us,
for we are in desperate need.
9 Help us, God our Savior,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us and forgive our sins
for your name’s sake.
10 Why should the nations say,
“Where is their God?”
Before our eyes, make known among the nations
that you avenge the outpoured blood of your servants.
11 May the groans of the prisoners come before you;
with your strong arm preserve those condemned to die.
12 Pay back into the laps of our neighbors seven times
the contempt they have hurled at you, Lord.
13 Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture,
will praise you forever;
from generation to generation
we will proclaim your praise.
Wandering Views 
As sometimes happens- I am having a tough day. It’s all in my head and how I process the things around me. Perhaps I am exhausted from my weekend.
Perhaps I need to sit on a beach and watch the waves.
Whatever it is I would appreciate prayer.

Lord, please settle Kim’s mind. Please raise her thinking up above the earthly cares and into the realm of Your love and promises for a good future. Please give her rest in You. May she toss any baggage over her shoulder to be seen or thought of no more brcause You will take care of any of it that is valid. If the evil one is shooting arrows at her, I pray You are her sure protection and will redirect them back on the evil one. Please give her Your abiding peace today and on all days. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

Lifting AJ in prayer along with all the others including myself who have been afflicted with cancer. There can never be enough prayer coverage once cancer has entered the picture. It always lurks in the background and keeps people a little on edge.
Heavenly Father,
I ask that You will help all here whose lives are touched by cancer, and really it is everybody, in one way or another. I ask for effectiveness of treatment, accuracy in diagnosis, and a caring community to surround and love the currently afflicted. I ask You to make a way of eradication of cancer cells, for the cancer to starve in the bodies here represented. Please let side effects from meds not do more harm than good. I pray for integrity of the pharmacertical industry and all those who are producing our medicines in other nations not only for cancer patients but for all patients needing meds.
Thank You for blessing AJ with a loving family and a loving church body. You have enriched his life greatly through many loving relationships. Please let it go well for him whrn he has his upcoming procedure.

Please pray for my grandson, Micah, who is going through a difficult time right now and for his parents and others involved.

Dear Lord, I lift up Micah to You with his circumstancrs and issues that You know all about. Please bring him and his parents to better understanding of.what matters and is important to deal with and what can be overlooked. If they need outside help, I pray for excellent Christian counseling. Please shed light on anything that is an obstacle to problem resolution. I pray they can all draw closer to You through the troubling times. May Your way shine forth as the best route through difficult times. I pray for love and truth to work hand in hand in bringing forth good workable solutions. May an attitude of never giving up hope prevail. Thank You for listening to late prayers and working out Your best answers. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen
