Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 48
A song. A psalm of the Sons of Korah.
1 Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise,
in the city of our God, his holy mountain.
2 Beautiful in its loftiness,
the joy of the whole earth,
like the heights of Zaphon is Mount Zion,
the city of the Great King.
3 God is in her citadels;
he has shown himself to be her fortress.
4 When the kings joined forces,
when they advanced together,
5 they saw her and were astounded;
they fled in terror.
6 Trembling seized them there,
pain like that of a woman in labor.
7 You destroyed them like ships of Tarshish
shattered by an east wind.
8 As we have heard,
so we have seen
in the city of the Lord Almighty,
in the city of our God:
God makes her secure
forever.
9 Within your temple, O God,
we meditate on your unfailing love.
10 Like your name, O God,
your praise reaches to the ends of the earth;
your right hand is filled with righteousness.
11 Mount Zion rejoices,
the villages of Judah are glad
because of your judgments.
12 Walk about Zion, go around her,
count her towers,
13 consider well her ramparts,
view her citadels,
that you may tell of them
to the next generation.
14 For this God is our God for ever and ever;
he will be our guide even to the end.
We’re on our way soon to a heavy prayer session with another M.
Please pray we clearly hear God’s word in this matter and that M can be liberated from sin.
Thank you.

Prayers, M, for Holy Spirit guided words and a receiving heart open to change for the better and hopefully full redeeming change through Jesus. Amen

Praying with Mindy and Nat. May God’s peace bless them and pain meds work.

So sad about Mindy’s Nat. I am praying for another Mindy who lost her husband in the past year and recently her dog had growths. Mindy is preparing to move from here to up North to be with family. We prayed for her dog and I got word that the growths are benign so the dog can be a stabilizing factor as she uproots from here.

Thanks for asking, Janice — she’s coming along, no thanks to me this week when I totally missed their call yesterday that they had to leave and needed the driveway. They had to make their way down the driveway, into the car at the curb, then back up again which was quite the ordeal. 😦 😦 Physical therapy plus, more than either of them needed, I’m sure. (But they still had me over for a quick take-out dinner last night.)
They hadn’t planned to go anywhere this week with her recovery & the rain, but I guess plans changed and my car was still up in my driveway.
So I moved it down first thing this morning to the curb and will get back to that now that it seems she’s somewhat on the move again. 🙂
Her new knee seems to be doing well; it’s the other knee that’s still in so much pain, of course, and hampers the recovery somewhat as it can’t support her (along with her right arm that’s still not fully usable since the stroke). But it’ll all come along, God willing.

Thankful she is doing as well as she is, Dj. Still remembering that cancelled surgery. God had other plans, probably for better reasons than will ever be known. So nice of them to share a meal with you.

The prayer time went well, thanks. We’ll need to pray again, but we saw some progress in his soul for now. It’s been a difficult few weeks. Well-meaning church members aren’t helping. 😦
