  1. ๐Ÿ˜Š those flowers in the header look like ranunculusโ€ฆso delicate. The variety of His creation can be so similar yet so differentโ€ฆ.just like His Children

๐Ÿ˜Š thankful for the advancements in medical treatments and knowing all the while it is in Him we place all of our trust.

๐Ÿ˜ณ dog sitting for neighbors and having our house turned upside down for this weekend. Three Aussies, two of whom have just turned one year. The Aussie guest is a bit hyper and the next time neighbors want to go skiing I might suggest they take her and teach her to ski!!

  2. ๐Ÿ˜€ Karen has a new pacemaker, a giant accomplishment

๐Ÿ˜€ Art’s toe looks much better

๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜ณ Art took it upon himself to trim that toenail with unsterilized scisdors this morning (the doc had just seen it yesterday!)

๐Ÿ˜€ Biting one’s tongue to keep from screaming

๐Ÿ˜€ Cat in lap in cooler weather

๐Ÿ˜€ Perhaps spring break is an ideal time to clean up a trashed yard

    ๐Ÿ˜€ Wonderful Christian friends

    ๐Ÿ˜€ Wonderful Physical Therapists

๐Ÿ˜€ The ability to do PT routines to grow stronger

  3. :-|. Still exhausted after five days of detailed bookkeeping work (I sound like a teenager) with little to none of my personal work doneโ€” including Tuesdayโ€™s Bible prep for Job 2-3.

    ๐Ÿ™‚ Rain

๐Ÿ˜ Outraged community over the stabbing death at Adorableโ€™s high school.

๐Ÿ˜ฆ The same day as the stabbing death, the elite high school up the street saw lockdown when a kid brandished an empty revolver.

๐Ÿ˜ Yesterday saw a student walkout demanding safety. Parents and angry teachers agreed.

๐Ÿ˜ฆ Schoolboard has said nothingโ€”not even condolences. The suspicion is they are busy โ€œlawyering up.โ€

    ๐Ÿ˜ Meanwhile . . .

Two prayer sessions over the weekend. Looking forward to seeing the captives to sin freed.

    God is in control!

  4. ๐Ÿ™‚ NJ, Abby needs your address, please. Her blanket is packed. She may bring the cat.

๐Ÿ™‚ But I asked her, exactly how do you think you’ll get there? You won’t get in the car yet.

    ๐Ÿ™‚ Mercy triumphs.

  5. ๐Ÿ™‚ Long walk with Abby up to the park with the duck ponds.

๐Ÿ˜ฆ Totally forgot to drop my old microwave off today at the recycle place in town. So Abby car training session had to be canceled, microwave is sitting in the back seat.

๐Ÿ™‚ Ah, but I then looked the recycle center up on line (they were closed last week due to rain) and see that they’re now ALSO open on ‘Sundays from 9-3 (that’s new, all these years it’s been Saturdays only) so I’ll be able to swing by there after church.

  6. A nice Saturday. The storm came in, but didn’t last long.

I got out for a walk before the storm. I had asked my neighbor if I could walk down his driveway, but hadn’t tried it yet. It worked very well. Just up from my driveway. His goes to an adjoining road and is not steep at all.

My friend called me about an estate sale near her house. I guess this was the third day. So I went right over. She thought I might find a few things for my kitchen. I did find five nice glasses.

But I found a king size bed for my downstairs bedroom!! I got the mattress, box springs and the frame. Plus it had a mattress pad and a three inch topper. That topper would have cost what I paid for everything. Plus I got a set of sheets. So I am all set.

I also got three bar stools for my kitchen. Much better quality than anything I had been thinking about.

And three quilted wall hangings. There was a picture that I wanted, but it was 60 dollars and even with 30% off that was too much.

  7. We had a wonderful week. Bicycle riding on Jekyll Island on Monday with temps in the low 80s then riding Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday on the Withlacoochi Trail in Inverness, Florida, in the mid 80s. Hubby got in over 200 miles and I had around 120.
