  1. Of course….

The leader of the Branch Covidians demands compliance, even though he’s admitted they don’t work.

“At Deposition, Maskless Fauci Forced Stenographer to Wear a Mask

No one else in the room was masked. “The last thing in the world I want to get is Covid” Fauci declared, as the court reporter told him her sniffles were just allergies.”

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2022/11/at-deposition-maskless-fauci-forced-stenographer-to-wear-a-mask/

“As Professor Jacobson reported earlier this week, White House covid advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci gave a deposition in the lawsuit commenced by Louisiana and Missouri.

That suit alleges numerous Biden administration officials colluded with and directed big tech and social media giants to censor dissenting scientific and medical voices with regard to the pandemic.

It turns out, that during the final phase of his career, Fauci is exiting Washington, D.C. the same way he operated in in: With extreme arrogance. Despite having recovered from covid, he forced a court reported to don a mask during the deposition.”

“Professor Jacobson confirmed with attorney Younges, who was in the room, that the court reporter was the only one asked by Fauci to put on a mask, and that no one else — including Fauci — was wearing a mask.”

  2. The media lied, and continues to lie to run cover for the slimy Bidens and their family crime ring.

    https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2022/11/let-the-credits-roll.php

“As a work of art, the video can stand alone. However, it was originally commissioned to accompany Matt Taibbi’s post “The Media Campaign to Protect Joe Biden Passes the Point of Absurdity.” In part Taibbi’s purpose was to shame a “herd of craven media stenographers,” but they are shameless. Taibbi revisited the video last week in “YouTube Censors Reality, Boosts Disinformation: Part 1.”

I thought the video lacked only a scroll of “credits.” Who are these shameless cretins? Thanks to reader Michael Cavino, who has put together the tentative list below, I can now ask you to imagine the names rolling at the end of the video in order of appearance (and reappearance) along with their affiliations at the time of their appearance on air:

  3. The new “worst thing ever”….

Because the media clowns are so predictable. Their shameless act never changes, only the victims name does.

And yes, Jen Rubin, clown extraordinaire, leads the charge of the reborn Never-Trump grifter brigade.

“Media Continues Its ‘DeSantis Is Worse Than Trump’ Narrative

“DeSantis’s contempt for dissent and his crackdown on critics should not be discounted. This is the profile of a constitutional ignoramus, a bully and a strongman. Voters should be forewarned.” -WaPo columnist Jennifer Rubin”

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2022/11/media-continues-its-desantis-is-worse-than-trump-narrative/

“As has often been said, you can tell which Republican the mainstream media and Democrats are most fearful of based on how much time they spend trying to paint them as the next Donald Trump.

In Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ case, a considerable amount of time has been spent by The Usual Suspects over the last year or so portraying DeSantis as either just as “bad” as the former president or “worse” – so much worse that illegal immigrants, Latinos in general, the LGBTQ community, women, and “woke” leftists among others should be afraid, very very afraid, of what could happen should DeSantis run and be able to go the distance against the Democratic nominee (whoever that may be) in 2024.

Throughout what I call “Thanksgiving week,” the media and panicked leftists continued to do their thing against DeSantis after a growing number of polls have shown him being very competitive against Trump and, in some cases besting him in hypothetical primary match-ups.

Self-described “pro-democracy opinion writer” Jennifer Rubin was among many making ominous comparisons between Trump and DeSantis, though in her case, she tempered it by suggesting that DeSantis was just as “dangerous” as Trump but not necessarily worse:”

    “From her column:

If you believe Florida’s Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis would be a less dangerous presidential candidate than former president Donald Trump, take a moment to consider the recent ruling striking down DeSantis’s “Stop WOKE Act.” That opinion — as well as other rulings against his attempts to inhibit dissent — makes clear that DeSantis is just as willing as Trump to embrace the GOP’s authoritarian element and use state power to punish his enemies.

Mike Scrafton, a former Aussie government official, sounded off on DeSantis as well in a piece that contained the headline “DeSantis’ ideology is clearer, darker and more coherent than Trump’s”:”

  4. Meanwhile, over at “the next hoax up”…..

“There’s Something Fishy About the Special Counsel Investigating Trump”

    You don’t say….. 🙄

    https://townhall.com/tipsheet/miacathell/2022/11/25/special-counsel-jack-smith-background-n2616233

“Last week, the Biden administration’s Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed special counsel Jack Smith to investigate former President Donald Trump, days after President Joe Biden’s top GOP rival declared a third bid for the presidency.

Garland’s appointment marks the naming of the third special counsel in five years to examine Trump-related matters. But this particular pick has had some major misfires, one of which took out a high-profile potential Republican presidential candidate.”

“More than a decade ago, under President Barack Obama’s leadership, Attorney General Eric Holder picked Smith to oversee the Justice Department’s public integrity section. A few years later, Smith’s unit convicted former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, a Republican, in 2014 on corruption charges for accepting over $165,000 in gifts and loans from an affluent businessman in exchange for promoting a dietary supplement. However, two years went by, and the Supreme Court overturned the conviction in a unanimous ruling that found that the jury was given faulty instructions about what constitutes bribery under federal law.

McDonnell maintained he never took any “official action” to benefit the CEO of Star Scientific Inc. or pressured state leaders to do so; he just performed routine courtesies—”everyday acts” that are part of the job, as McDonnell claimed—for the wealthy benefactor, such as setting up meetings and hosting promotional events like a launch luncheon at the governor’s mansion.

Although the former governor did receive offerings, the favors were not illegal at the time under Virginia ethics laws, and McDonnell asserted that he did nothing in return except help a constituent reach out and pitch to public health officials.

Moreover, McDonnell insisted that the CEO was never given the “official action” he sought: state funding for clinical research on the company’s dietary drug. Based on McDonnell’s arrangement in place, Chief Justice John Roberts determined that politicians aren’t punishable by law for aiding a constituent’s access to willing public officials who don’t exercise actual government power. Therefore, organizing a meet-up or a networking shindig could not be defined as an “official act” under current legislation.

“There is no doubt that this case is distasteful; it may be worse than that,” Roberts wrote in the majority opinion, finding that Smith’s team overreached in interpreting bribery statutes. “But our concern is not with tawdry tales of Ferraris, Rolexes, and ball gowns. It is instead with the broader legal implications of the government’s boundless interpretation of the federal bribery statute.”

Nevertheless, the damage was done and McDonnell’s political career was destroyed. The sensational indictment ended speculation that McDonnell could’ve been a Republican presidential contender in the 2016 race. A source familiar with the McDonnell case told CNN that Smith was involved in the decision-making process leading up to the federal charges.”

    https://www.theepochtimes.com/kari-lake-vows-larger-legal-challenge-after-1st-election-lawsuit-filed_4886119.html

“Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake said that she is planning a larger legal challenge than the one that her team filed against Maricopa County earlier this week.

“So we filed this lawsuit in court today asking the county to cough up some of the public documentation we need for our bigger lawsuit,” she told Just the News Wednesday. Lake added that she has not determined what the remedy of the lawsuit would be.

“Many people are saying they want a redo of Maricopa County. I’ve heard people say throw it out. We have not determined what the remedy is. But I don’t think you can fix what happened,” she said.

Lake, a Republican backed by former President Donald Trump, criticized how the County ran the election, saying “there were three-hour lines” in part caused by problems with the tabulation equipment at polling locations, in an interview with Newsmax.

Earlier this week, Lake’s team filed a lawsuit (pdf) against Maricopa County that called for the release of the country’s election records.

“We have a case that we’re putting together that I believe is going to be shocking,” Lake, a former local television host, said of the lawsuit. “We have whistleblowers coming forward. We have inside information about how this was run, what was going on behind the scenes. What they did to our sacred vote is unforgivable.””

  13. I don’t think any medical professional has been saying wearing masks protects you; only that it protects others. Although a few sniffles isn’t something to be worried about esp if you’re vaccinated and already had covid. My school board has asked people to wear masks as student absenteeism and teacher illness is double the norm. Since I’m rarely ill, I won’t wear a mask but some students probably will esp if they feel sick.

Is the DOJ investigating Trump because they are scared of him or are the Democrats and the media scared of DeSantis? Can’t really be both. From what I’ve read, Democrats would much rather face Trump. DeSantis has the same ideas but he has the competence to see it through. And more importantly he appears competent. Voters no longer trust Trump. In addition Trump motivates Demcratic supporters to actually vote.

McDonnell was corrupt, Roberts more or less admitted it. However, the court was more interested in the broader implications of a precedent. Clearer guidelines and ethical rules were later implemented to stop this type of behaviour.

Trudeau is an annoying trust fund baby but I have to give him credit for appearing in front of the inquiry. My conservative premier invoked parliamentary privlige to avoid testifying and Candice Bergen the internim Conservative leader also resists testifying to the inquiry regarding her actions during the protests.

Twitter has a credibility problem at the moment. And left wing activists are trying everything to undermine Twitter, not because they are whining about the lack of censorship, but the ability to publicly undermine and humiliate one of the richest persons in the world is fun.

The elections in Maricopa county were run by Republican officials. The problems are compounded because Republicans encourage election day voting whereas Democrats tend to vote via advance polls or drop boxes. Why the Republicans do this is strange – its far better to have your base vote early so you can focus your election day resources on getting out the vote.

    https://trendingpolitics.com/fauci-insists-that-masks-work-but-gets-destroyed-by-mega-thread-on-actual-science-knab/

““Are cotton and surgical masks effective at preventing the spread of Omicron?” CNN’s Dana Bash asked.

“Yeah, when the CDC says they are effective, in fact, they are,” Fauci claimed.”

“The excuse that Fauci gave — that he lied to keep Americans from reducing the supplies of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) for medical personnel — makes no sense in hindsight.

“I don’t regret anything I said then because in the context of the time in which I said it, it was correct. We were told in our task force meetings that we have a serious problem with the lack of PPEs and masks for the health providers who are putting themselves in harm’s way every day to take care of sick people,” Fauci told O’Donnell.

“When it became clear that we could get the infection could be spread by asymptomatic carriers who don’t know they’re infected, that made it very clear that we had to strongly recommend masks,” he said.”

    https://www.cnbc.com/2020/10/13/covid-19-experts-masks-are-as-important-as-a-vaccine.html

“Dr. Christina Brennan, vice president of clinical research at Northwell Health’s Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research, told “60 Minutes” on Sunday that if she had to choose between a mask or a vaccine, a mask is more important.

“With our social distancing, wearing of the mask, the data’s already showing that it’s been effective. It’s, you know, cost savings, and it’s effective. ”

  18. Your links on masks simply demonstrated what I am saying; masks don’t protect the mask wearer just the people around the mask wearer. If you are sick or symptomatic, you should mask up to prevent the spread of illness from you to others. During the height of the pandemic, public health officials were worried about the spread of disease from asymptomatic carriers so they asked everyone to wear a mask. They did not say it was for the mask wearer’s protection – they said it would slow the spread of infection.

Twitter isn’t a free speech platform now or in the past. It’s a privately owned service that seeks to make money for its shareholders. Advertisers have decided that twitter’s new direction and new targets of censorship do match with their targeted demographic and are therefore leaving the platform. Under Musk, the use of racial epithets have increased, parody is banned, comedic insults directed to Musk can result in bans, etc Its clear under Musck that Twitter is taking a different direction and censoring in different direction. That’s fine, its a private corporation but other private corporations will reassess their relationship with Twitter.

Jesus as trans is weird and not entirely what the student pastor said. What he did was cite pieces of medieval art which lacked genitalia as a way of referencing the fact Jesus as the son of God could be viewed as transcending human gender. And then he cited paintings which suggest Jesus bled not from the side but from the front to support a claim that there was a tradition of viewing Jesus with femine attributes. I suppose he threw in the bit about being trans to be socially relevant. The need for academics to come up with new and socially relevant ideas is probably the prime motivator. I’ve had friends who’ve quit academia because of the need to be original, socially relevant and still excel at “office politics”.
