It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 114
1 When Israel came out of Egypt,
Jacob from a people of foreign tongue,
2 Judah became God’s sanctuary,
Israel his dominion.
3 The sea looked and fled,
the Jordan turned back;
4 the mountains leaped like rams,
the hills like lambs.
5 Why was it, sea, that you fled?
Why, Jordan, did you turn back?
6 Why, mountains, did you leap like rams,
you hills, like lambs?
7 Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord,
at the presence of the God of Jacob,
8 who turned the rock into a pool,
the hard rock into springs of water.
Art is in surgery now. Thank you for praying.

Late to prayer but God knows. Praying, Janice.
If anybody sees this: step mom fell Thursday morning, we spent the day in the ER, she was sent home for hospice. Broken pelvis, cracked hip, brain bleed. They think a compilation of recent falls. Anyway, hospice nurse this morning suggested three to eight days left for her before she begins living in the presence of God in a new way. We came home to restock son on meals, restock daughter with meds, restock us on clothes and we head back to Moscow tonight. As seems to have happened in each case, primary caretaker falls to me. I am fine with that but prayer for wisdom and endurance and safe driving tonight. Prayer for an easy going for stepmom. She has had a good one hundred years here. And prayer for my dad. She is his life.
In other news, step mom in law learned yesterday that her test results were horrible and she no longer believes she can live independently and has decided to do whatever her husband suggests. Which means she may be moving in with us with him. You will know how to pray. Thanks.
Oh and praise that fifteen and sixteen are handling this so well.

Oh Mumsee. Praying. I am in awe of God’s ability to infuse us with strength, courage, wisdom, endurance and provision. I pray that he fortify both you and Mike with these resources as you navigate this difficult time. And may the Lord grant step-mom a peaceful transition from this life to the next.

Dear Mumsee we pray as you find yourself in transition with those in transition. May the Lord’s presence surround you and give direction as only He can.

Mumsee, I echo the prayers of Debra and NancyJill.
Be safe on the road, may all of this go as smoothly as possible.
God knows.
Janice, hope you and Art will be able to get the sleep you both need. It’s been a long day for you both. May tomorrow be much easier and may you both be back home by then as well.
