Wandering Views 
Prayer for step mom in law this morning as she has a visit with the oncologist today. She was not supposed to see her again until December but there was a change of plans. This is the kind of reason husband is there with them.

Mr. P had an appointment with a neurologist today. He recorded part of the appointment and sent it to me. The concern is the diameter of his spinal column. He has spinal stenosis. The bigger concern is that if he were to fall his spinal cord could be severed, even to the point that he would lose his ability to breathe.
I have known this for a while. This is the second doctor to tell him this. The first was a chiropractor. He will have two more appointments with neurologist/neurosurgeons and will hear the same information. While I have known this, somehow today it was “more”.
Please pray that he will seek the best doctor for this and not just take the first one the VA offers him.

She is down to ninety eight pounds from her normal one thirty. Fully clothed. In her heaviest because she did not want the doc to know she is still losing.

Step mom in law had a good report, it was a computer generated appt due to low iron levels. Doc says she should enjoy a full recovery but will need assisted living. She does not agree and is still looking at living independently and caring for dad in law. But the doc says she will be in rehab several more weeks.

The weight of the world somehow feels heavier today after reading the prayer requests. Good thing we can share the load with Jesus. I can not imagine life without Him.

Daughter got a note today, from a fellow resident at the hotel. The woman has issues. I have been giving her a ride to Bible study but may have to discontinue. She threatened bodily damage to daughter if she did not stop throwing powdered food products at her (the woman) which daughter does not do. The woman has accused others of the same. Wisdom on how much to report it. To the bartender? To the hotel owner? To the sheriff dept? Clearly a mental health issue and I doubt she would ever do such a thing but threats of physical violence are not okay.
