It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget to pray for The Gambia.
Anyone else have something to share?
Psalm 82
A psalm of Asaph.
1 God presides in the great assembly;
he renders judgment among the “gods”:
2 “How long will you defend the unjust
and show partiality to the wicked?
3 Defend the weak and the fatherless;
uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.
4 Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
5 “The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing.
They walk about in darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6 “I said, ‘You are “gods”;
you are all sons of the Most High.’
7 But you will die like mere mortals;
you will fall like every other ruler.”
8 Rise up, O God, judge the earth,
for all the nations are your inheritance.
Lifting AJ in prayer this morning. There were quite a few guys waiting in radiology yesterday reminding me of AJ.

Thanks.

I remember waiting in radiology for my husband. That is not a pleasant journey, and you are in my prayers.

She was laughing when she came in sporting a blue cast. Only took 10 minutes. Mom was the most relieved! Thanks for prayers.
On another note, my prayer request from earlier in the week, Jonathan, went home from the hospital yesterday with everything working. Great news.

My friend’s sister has been put into Hospice. Pray she receives the best and kindest care, please. One of her children (son) is an adult Down Syndrome sweetheart. This will be so difficult but family will take him in. Father died last year from Covid.😒

Praying, so many hard circumstances folks are going through, here and beyond.
My neighbor who’s still waiting for word from the doctors about whether or not her stroke from a year and a half ago will prevent her from getting double knee replacement surgeries that are really needed (not just to walk but alleviate worsening pain) sounded discouraged when we talked the other night. She feels “stuck” and limited, understandably, without something to set her hopes on that will help her regain some of her physical movement and freedom. Sounds like she’s sleeping a lot (too much?) and just feels discouraged and sometimes like things are hopeless.
