The United States was producing 13.58 million barrels per day in 2025, about 16% of global crude supply. It was exporting roughly 4 million barrels per day of crude.
Iran shuts the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. April exports jumped to 4.9 million barrels per day, and May is tracking 5.2 million, an all time record. 28 supertankers are booked for May. Normally it is around 5.
Asian buyers that once depended on Hormuz are now turning to U.S. supply.
In some strange way, the Strait of Hormuz being blocked is actually the biggest payday U.S. oil has ever had.”
You mean both Dems and NTer politicians have been lying to us…?
This is my shocked face. 😶
Also note that since they are exempt from action against them for what they say on the floor, any one of these people who pretend to care so much could be naming names.
“Liberals are going to HATE this! Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche says he’s made it very clear that he’s offered EVERY member of Congress the opportunity to view UNREDACTED Epstein Files, with absolutely zero restrictions:
“We have released EVERYTHING. We reviewed 6 million pieces of paper! We are not sitting on a SINGLE piece of paper to be released.”
“We said to Congress, any congressman can come in and spend as much time as they want, looking at everything unredacted.”
“And if you think we should be doing something, congressman or congresswoman, let us know and we will do it.”
“I don’t know how this department or this president can be more transparent than saying American people.”
“Here is every single document in our entire database. And if we had to redact it because of victim names, anybody can come look at it if you’re a member of Congress. No restrictions, unredacted.”
“It’s fascinating to see what social media reveals about a person before they become the Pope.
Before he became Pope Leo XIV, Cardinal Robert Prevost was on Twitter trashing Trump, criticizing Vance, calling for open borders, promoting COVID vaccines, endorsing stricter gun control, and tweeting after George Floyd: “We need to hear more from leaders in the Church, to reject racism and seek justice.”
“So the Pope met with David Axelrod last week. David Axelrod. Obama’s campaign architect. A man who is not Catholic, has never met a pope before, and whose entire career has been engineering political narratives for the American left.
And then, by pure coincidence, the Pope immediately started lobbing shots at the Trump administration, and three US Cardinals popped up on 60 Minutes doing the same thing.
All organically, I’m sure.
I’m a practicing Catholic. I need you to understand that part. But in my opinion, Trump has all the right to lash out at him. Maybe you’ll disagree, but in the end, Trump talks like Trump. Water is wet. I’m talking about MY Church being run like a DNC satellite office but with a golden throne.
This is the same Vatican that watched governments padlock churches during COVID and said nothing. That let Biden take communion while funding abortion and said nothing. That fired Bishop Strickland for defending actual Church doctrine. That removed Bishop Fernández in Puerto Rico for defending religious exemptions THE CATECHISM ITSELF supports.
But somehow Trump is the threat to human dignity.
Pope Francis was bad. Leo has turned out to be worse. Francis at least was vague about his politics. Leo went and hired the consulting firm.
The man has ignored the slaughter of Christians across Nigeria, the Sahel, India, Syria, Bangladesh, Pakistan. Hundreds of believers murdered, churches burned, pastors kidnapped. His response? Platitudes about dialogue.
OF COURSE he won’t even name who’s doing the killing.
But he’ll fly across continents to make interfaith gestures the week after his people coordinated a media hit on a sitting US president.
The weaponization of belief is obvious. You get the Pope to pick a fight with Trump, and suddenly millions of conservative Catholics have to choose between their faith and their vote.”
“This is the most disturbing thing I have ever heard on my show…
Former Congressman George Santos tells me that the House of Representatives had to SHUT DOWN the High School Page Program because Congressmen were sexually abusing young students.
“Remember why the U.S. House of Representatives no longer has the page program — because young children, who would go from their schools to learn from our leaders, were literally ASSAULTED by members of Congress! And these are 13, 14, 15, year-olds.”
“This is the beginning of the END of the sexual predator behavior in Capitol Hill. This is going to be the Harvey Weinsteins of the Bill Cosbys that are going to bring down this GENERATIONAL behavior.”
Congress has harbored a sick predator culture for far too long.
Eric Swalwell is just the beginning.
More will be exposed. It’s time to finally clean house in Washington.”
Interesting info about tanker but the X tweet didn’t leave any references or links to the data — you need to provide evidence. Or any indication that the fuel picked up in Houston is a substitute for fuel picked up in the Gulf — for the most part they are different products, as Europe and Asia still have less jet fuel than normal. Elsewhere I’ve noticed that the US blockade is having little affect on tanker traffic
Todd Blanche isn’t saying anything new. Congress has been able to view the Epstein files for months now but they are not allowed to share them nor have all the files been made available to the general public and that’s the issue. He’s deliberately conflating the type of access in order to bury the files. Meanwhile Bondi has refused to show up to give testimony into her handling of the files. The subpoena said Pam Bondi not Attorney General; getting fired doesn’t change anything she still needs to show up. The Trump admin keeps dragging the issue — publish all the files, show up for hearings and tell the truth.
Santos has little credibility. And the page program was shut down in 2011, over 15 years ago. Its relevance now is questionable. Another distraction from the Epstein files I suppose.
“BREAKING: Former Biden-era VA official John H. Windom—tasked with overseeing the massive Electronic Health Record Modernization project—has been federally indicted for concealing thousands in cash, casino chips, Louis Vuitton gift cards, and other lavish gifts from contractors.
While leading the effort, Windom helped award a $10 BILLION contract to Cerner (later bought by Oracle Health). He allegedly pushed the company on ‘diversity and inclusion,’ leading to a $1.7M DEI-related subcontract for his circle—while raking in personal perks from a ‘Power Group’ of favored vendors.
The result? A disastrously flawed system linked to over 4,000 cases of harm to veterans—including at least 4 deaths from scheduling errors, lost orders, and catastrophic failures. Rollout stalled after safety nightmares.
This is what happens when ethics take a backseat and ideology (DEI) mixes with billion-dollar contracts.
“One of the great political moves by the left in recent years has been convincing a large portion of America that “the rich” don’t pay taxes and it’s all poor people, when the exact opposite is true.
“WEAPONIZATION: Internal DOJ emails show Soros-backed NGOs were telling federal prosecutors who to target under the FACE Act. The targets broke no laws. The prosecutors followed the NGO’s directions anyway. Todd Blanche found the emails & fired every one of them. The DOJ was not a law enforcement agency. It was a Soros field office.”
And again, they can read them with zero redactions. They’re also exempt from lawsuits for naming names. Dems could do this today, and nothing could be done about. There is no penalty for sharing what they read, unless they out victims.
But they aren’t, because most of those names are their fellow Dems.
There are about 8500 oil tankers in the world (about 18 000 tankers in total — chemical, petrol, etc). 120 tankers heading to Houston is about 1.5% of the world traffic. Is this an increase? Even if it is, it’s barely a dent in world traffic.
I’ll give you a 25% increase in exports but how much does that help Americans? This will increase oil profits but the pump price for Americans will continue to be high. A way to lower pump prices is to actually hold exports at pre-blockade levels maintaining domestic supply and holding prices. By exporting oil, it lowers domestic supply and thus increases prices. East Asia gets fuel and Americans pay more at the pumps.
My other question is still unanswered — is the fuel the tankers picking up the same as the fuel they would pick up in the Persian Gulf. Different refineries produce different products.
The fact that 1% pay such a high share of the tax points to the insane wealth disparity in America. Warren Buffet pointed out that he paid a lower percent of his income than his secretary, and yet he still pays far more by gross amount. The wealth disparity is the problem not the taxes.
Imagine if all income was treated the same (ie stock options and wages were treated the same ) — the percentage per capita paid by the 1% would be even higher.
The basic deduction in US taxes is 15k for singles, 30k for joint filed married couples and 23k for heads of household. Thus the bottom 50% who don’t pay any tax are making below around 23k per person. The poverty income level is 15k and for a family of four it’s 32k. Taken together that means at least 50% of Americans near the poverty level.
However the US stats say 12% live below poverty and 16% of all children live in poverty. I’m not sure how that meshes with the tax statistics that were cited in an earlier post. Something doesn’t match.
Blanche is deliberately confusing things. Congress has access but the public does not. Why are about half the files not released?
The Democrats have named names that are in the unreleased files, namely Trump. The Republicans have been fairly quiet, why?
Given the reaction of female Republicans and the reluctance of Blanche/Bondi to release half the files, something is weird — release the files and dispel all suspicions (or confirm)
Iran tiktoks are all over the Epstein files — calling the present conflict the war for the Epstein class, and insinuating that Trump is under blackmail….. this could easily be dispelled if the admin was more transparent.
Hmmmm…. 🤔
As I’ve been saying….
That’s a long line of super tankers, and their coming here now.
