Prayer Requests 9-5-22

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 47

A psalm.

Clap your hands, all you nations;
    shout to God with cries of joy.

For the Lord Most High is awesome,
    the great King over all the earth.
He subdued nations under us,
    peoples under our feet.
He chose our inheritance for us,
    the pride of Jacob, whom he loved.

God has ascended amid shouts of joy,
    the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.
Sing praises to God, sing praises;
    sing praises to our King, sing praises.
For God is the King of all the earth;
    sing to him a psalm of praise.

God reigns over the nations;
    God is seated on his holy throne.
The nobles of the nations assemble
    as the people of the God of Abraham,
   for the kings of the earth belong to God;
    he is greatly exalted.

  1. One of my friend’s sisters died yesterday. Please pray that arrangements can all progress smoothly and that my friend who had been on a lengthy trip (the tourist route from here to CA and back by car) will be well to travel West again for the service.

  2. What I have feared for 2.5 years has now happened. Four of my Bible study ladies are down with COVID. One is in fragile health at 89; another in bad shape.

    Please pray. Thank you.

  3. Oh, good news, the one I was really concerned about called me to say the woman who reported ill must have misunderstood. Whew. That leaves two on the mend and one not so healthy.

    I’m getting Nixile alerts to turn off everything–and even unplug it.

    Honestly, they ought to find someone who knows what they’re talking about to write those notices. 😦

    Currently 105. Not expected to fall below 71 at night for the next week. 😦
