Prayer Requests 7-7-22

It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her former students, and the people of PNG.

Anyone else?

Psalm 142

maskil of David. A prayer.

I cry aloud to the Lord;
    I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy.
I pour out before him my complaint;
    before him I tell my trouble.

When my spirit grows faint within me,
    it is you who watch over my way.
   In the path where I walk
    people have hidden a snare for me.
Look and see, there is no one at my right hand;
    no one is concerned for me.
   I have no refuge;
    no one cares for my life.

I cry to you, Lord;
    I say, “You are my refuge,
    my portion in the land of the living.”

Listen to my cry,
    for I am in desperate need;
   rescue me from those who pursue me,
    for they are too strong for me.
Set me free from my prison,
    that I may praise your name.
   Then the righteous will gather about me
    because of your goodness to me.

  1. Irvin is back in the ER and may have some heart issues on top of everything else. He will be hospitalized when he leaves the ER. He loves the Lord but is very mixed up at the moment. Pray for a sound mind, peace and healing.

  2. Heavenly Father, I lift up Debra to You as she goes in for surgery tomorrow. Please may this surgery help bring back her full mobility. I pray her hip replacement will be a smooth procedure without complications. Keep her safe from any type of secondary infection. May all the medical team be well rested and in top form going in. Please help Debra to relax and trust fully in You to bring her through it all. Please keep her husband, C, and other family and friends, at ease in all the waiting time. May we sooner than expected hear, “All went well.” I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen
