It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her formerstudents, and the people of PNG.
Anyone else?
Psalm 136
1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
2 Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.
4 to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever.
5 who by his understanding made the heavens,
His love endures forever.
6 who spread out the earth upon the waters,
His love endures forever.
7 who made the great lights—
His love endures forever.
8 the sun to govern the day,
His love endures forever.
9 the moon and stars to govern the night;
His love endures forever.
10 to him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt
His love endures forever.
11 and brought Israel out from among them
His love endures forever.
12 with a mighty hand and outstretched arm;
His love endures forever.
13 to him who divided the Red Sea asunder
His love endures forever.
14 and brought Israel through the midst of it,
His love endures forever.
15 but swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea;
His love endures forever.
16 to him who led his people through the wilderness;
His love endures forever.
17 to him who struck down great kings,
His love endures forever.
18 and killed mighty kings—
His love endures forever.
19 Sihon king of the Amorites
His love endures forever.
20 and Og king of Bashan—
His love endures forever.
21 and gave their land as an inheritance,
His love endures forever.
22 an inheritance to his servant Israel.
His love endures forever.
23 He remembered us in our low estate
His love endures forever.
24 and freed us from our enemies.
His love endures forever.
25 He gives food to every creature.
His love endures forever.
26 Give thanks to the God of heaven.
His love endures forever.
Please pray for Eric. He is a divorced father of two and had a stroke. He is in his early forties and currently cannot work. He seems to be doing well physically. Please pray for his relationship with the Lord and emotional well-being. He was brought up to be a Christian, but I am unsure of whether or not he is one.

I think it’s one of the great blessings God bestows on us, the knowledge that other believers can and will pray for us and our needs. 🙂
It’s nice to know others care, and that God hears. 🙂

Prayer for Eric. May he during this down time get to a new understanding of who God is and who he is in God. May the Spirit draw and seal him into the fold as a new follower of Jesus, confessed, repented, and baptised, for all the days of his life. In Jesus, Amen

Praying for Eric, Kathaleena.
No further news on Jacob, except that the church’s weekly E-news that came out yesterday still lists him as in “very critical” condition. A GoFundMe and other means of giving (meals for the family, etc.) have been set up. Please continue to pray for Jacob and his family.
I would also like to request prayer for the mom of one of my piano students. B is a doctor who is in need of swift medical care herself, it sounds like. Appointment for tomorrow, out of state, was made late yesterday. Her husband, and thus their two young children, will need to go with her for the appointment, she told me. I don’t know what’s going on, but the medical providers are moving quickly. Please add B and her husband and their two daughters to your prayers. Many thanks.

Praying alongside dear brothers and sisters. I find myself whispering to the Lord often in thanks for bringing me before Him with these needs and requests. Such sweetness in knowing He cares and will be with us through it all… ♥️

Thank you for praying. I saw my primary care for blood pressure. While there she went through some of what to expect. She said the most frustrating part is the waiting along for things to happen. She was pleased with how I had been getting doctor references, etc. She answered the few questions/concerns I had. I am really feeling well and sometimes almost forget while distracted about what I am facing.
