Prayer Requests 5-24-22

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 115

Not to us, Lord, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness.

Why do the nations say,
    “Where is their God?”
Our God is in heaven;
    he does whatever pleases him.
But their idols are silver and gold,
    made by human hands.
They have mouths, but cannot speak,
    eyes, but cannot see.
They have ears, but cannot hear,
    noses, but cannot smell.
They have hands, but cannot feel,
    feet, but cannot walk,
nor can they utter a sound with their throats.
Those who make them will be like them,
and so will all who trust in them.

All you Israelites, trust in the Lord
he is their help and shield.
10 House of Aaron, trust in the Lord
he is their help and shield.
11 You who fear him, trust in the Lord
he is their help and shield.

12 The Lord remembers us and will bless us:
He will bless his people Israel,
he will bless the house of Aaron,
13 he will bless those who fear the Lord
    small and great alike.

14 May the Lord cause you to flourish,
    both you and your children.
15 May you be blessed by the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

16 The highest heavens belong to the Lord,
but the earth he has given to mankind.
17 It is not the dead who praise the Lord,
    those who go down to the place of silence;
18 it is we who extol the Lord,
    both now and forevermore.

   Praise the Lord.

  1. The doc said they would run an EKG or whatever prior to starting chemo today. Last night, late, she called husband to tell him they were starting last night and she had to be kept awake all night. When he arrived with his dad this morning, they had just taken her back for the EKG. I reminded him that is why he is there. To help them with communication.
Prayer for wisdom and attention to details. She is ready to head Home. No idea why they are pursuing chemo at this point. But God knows.

  2. Praying for Mike and for the situation he is facing with the parents. Trusting the Lord to lead him in handling it all.

Kim I pray this person would know your heart and not hold onto an offense…may He reveal that even now…. ♥️

  3. Kim, it is so hard to walk through the landmines of racial offenses these days. It is the fallen world and not heaven that gives such challenges. May God let His peace settle in and cover the offense with the offended experiencing new found love, respect, forgiveness, and recognition of God as the only true reconciler.

  4. May Mike receive a double portion of patience, stamina, and sense of accomplishment as God works out His plans using Mike as His instrument. May God work blessings of salvation into the whole situation.

  5. Thank you for praying. Apparently they went ahead with the chemo last night but were going to stop it midway as she was not comfortable but she told them to proceed so they did.
