  1. Morning all….goodnight Jo.
And Happy Happy Birthday Peter!! 🎂 🎉
Aj that is just the prettiest photo up there. I am quite partial to anything pinecone. That variety up there has to be my favorite…small and delicate. It has always amazed me how the Lord created so many varieties. You captured it perfectly!

It is a cloudy rainy morning here and the snow has melted in quickly. Still smatterings of it here and there on the property but it will be melted in by days end.
Driveway guys are showing up this morning to tear out the old and preparing to pour a new. This will be challenging to keep a certain puppy away from that area for the next few days!

  2. I was just telling Cheryl that I had to take a pic when I saw it because I like them and it was a perfect sign of Spring, a tiny new one. 🙂

  3. Well I shall be showing that photo to driveway guy! We were actually concerned about keeping the deer from crossing over while it was wet….they have a favorite spot on the drive to cross over and it happens to be right by the driveway alarm. It goes off and we just know it’s the deer crossing at 2Am!! It would be kind of fun to have the bobcat’s paw prints on it though! 😂

  4. What is reformed theology? How is it different from any other evangelical theology? What Protestant denominations are not reformed, and what makes them different?

I’m looking into a church that says up front their theology is reformed, and after all these years I still don’t really know what that means, what makes them different.

Does that qualify as a QOD?

  5. Kevin B, I think that all Protestant denominations are reformed. I could be mistaken but I believe that Reformed refers to those that are Calvinist, primarily the Presbyterians.

  6. QOD: I have a book on Reformed Theology. Once again, I have been trying to work my way through it. Too many big words for me, but I shall carry on. In a hundred twenty three years, I may get back to you on that.

  7. But it was before it was cultural appropriation, back when it was just a cool hairstyle.

That is my natural hair- very tight curls. I never picked it out to make the afro.

  8. Hoping to get to school a wee bit early as I did nothing to prepare yesterday. I was just too tired. The preschool students are coming for a tour today. Since they are a larger class, we will see how it goes.

  9. When I first moved to Georgia, I was scared of all the snakes I was going to see dangling from all the trees, waiting to drop on unsuspecting passersby, and poisonous insects all over. It was not quite like that.

  10. That is really funny, Mumsee. It may be like that in the swamp down near FL but not around here. In this area it’s the two legged creatures that might be scary.

  11. Janice, I had always lived in Idaho and only been to California and Washington (Pullman), Oregon, Nevada, and California. My travel experience was somewhat limited. And so everything that a way was covered in poisonous, venomous things.

Cricket was gone from my car today. Too bad as he missed a trip to the beach for a news conference.

  13. I do not know about hats but crickets have ovipositors. Well, the females. Though now adays perhaps the males do too. but then they would not be males or females. They would be theys or thems.

  14. Shocked and saddened to see the news of the elementary school shooting today in Texas, I’ve been out of the loop working all day. Beyond heartbreaking.

  15. I dated a guy who had very curly red hair. This was the era of girls ironing their hair. Curly hair was not in for guys or gals. His dad told him if he straightened his hair the dad would shave him bald. It was an effective deterrent.
