It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Today is the day. 😦
Anyone else?
Psalm 112
1 Praise the Lord.
Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
who find great delight in his commands.
2 Their children will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches are in their houses,
and their righteousness endures forever.
4 Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,
for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
5 Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
who conduct their affairs with justice.
6 Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
they will be remembered forever.
7 They will have no fear of bad news;
their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
8 Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;
in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.
9 They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,
their righteousness endures forever;
their horn will be lifted high in honor.
10 The wicked will see and be vexed,
they will gnash their teeth and waste away;
the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.
Saying a prayer for you today, AJ, and will continue. God’s peace be with you.

Praying, the real.
And for husband who is winging his way to California on his way to Florida. The man gets around. And for his reason for going, stomach cancer in his step mom.

Praying, Mumsee.
The weather got worse last night. We have water in our basement, and a deep gully (about 18-24 inches) all down the side of our gravel driveway. Hubby is on the tractor, scooping up the gravel that washed into the roadway, filling the gouge back up as best he can. He had to take a break from the work when more heavy rains and close-by lightning started up again.
We will be able to get out of our driveway to go to the wedding rehearsal, but there are still severe storm warnings out until 10:30 tonight. He will be driving back home tonight after the rehearsal — about an hour drive, unless roads are washed out along the route he’d planned to take to the venue — and isn’t sure whether he’ll stay overnight at home or stay near the venue at the Airbnb 3rd Arrow and fiance arranged for the family. Depends on what happens here at home while we’re all away.
In other news, I am teary, having watched my daughter leave the nest this morning, knowing when she walks back into our house the next time, she’ll be a married lady.
She’s a beautiful girl, and it still doesn’t seem real, all of this.
Thanks for praying.

Amazing, 6, what all is going on in your world these days. I was thinking about your weather earlier this morning. Prayers over all. Teary over changes in family dynamics, glad and sad, salty and sweet mixture. God’s blessings for wedding day observances, celebrations, and for a lifetime of love before the newlyweds.

Prayers, Mumsee, for your distant traveling other half. May God keep angels all around him correcting the course as any obstacle appears. Blessings on those in Florida as God knows the needs according to the whole picture. May He work in hearts to bring acceptance of better solutions for all. In Jesus, Amen

Lord, we pray peace on the 6 household today, tomorrow, and all weekend. We ask they’d be safely on their way–probably about now–to a peaceful, joyful time with their family, old and new.
And for the bride and groom as they embark on their new marriage.
May God’s blessings smile upon them, a little sunshine on the wedding, and pure joy.
Amen.
