It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.
Anyone else?
Psalm 111
1 Praise the Lord.
I will extol the Lord with all my heart
in the council of the upright and in the assembly.
2 Great are the works of the Lord;
they are pondered by all who delight in them.
3 Glorious and majestic are his deeds,
and his righteousness endures forever.
4 He has caused his wonders to be remembered;
the Lord is gracious and compassionate.
5 He provides food for those who fear him;
he remembers his covenant forever.
6 He has shown his people the power of his works,
giving them the lands of other nations.
7 The works of his hands are faithful and just;
all his precepts are trustworthy.
8 They are established for ever and ever,
enacted in faithfulness and uprightness.
9 He provided redemption for his people;
he ordained his covenant forever—
holy and awesome is his name.
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
To him belongs eternal praise.
Prayer for husband. Infusion day. And he needs to find flights to Florida for tomorrow. And wisdom on how to proceed. His sister and brother both live on this side of the country and his father in law is in Florida. That is a lot of travel to care for the elderly. We built the house with them in mind but neither parent has taken us up on it though both would if not for the second spouse. And we love the second spouses so we try to work with it.

Asking the Lord to give direction concerning the parents Mumsee. And for physical endurance for Mike!
Praying for D this morning….that he might sense the peace that passes all understanding with the decision made. And the knowing with awe, wonder and expectation at what the Lord has planned for the days ahead ♥️

Yes, praying for D. And certainly for Mike and Mumsee and all the family, scattered where they all are and ministering as they do.
I’m having some challenges this morning pushing through anxiety that I won’t get everything accomplished today that needs to get done. Tomorrow morning we leave to head to the wedding rehearsal and so on. Today I’ve got the turtle tank to clean, and the bananas to make into banana bread, and laundry to do, and packing, and shopping for a sweater, and giving makeup lessons from my covid absence last month, and communicating with new families starting next month since a colleague left the studio this month (though I really could delay that last item on the list until after the wedding, but, you know, the tyranny of the urgent…)
I read my Bible and showered and answered business texts and emails, but have been somewhat paralyzed with doing the rest, which makes the mild panic rise more.
Prayers that I’ll “snap out of it” and move forward. I’ve still got six hours before my first piano lesson of the day. It should all be doable in that timeframe, but my mind is getting in the way of my body acting.
Thank you.

Lord, You knew all these needs of today before yesterday. They are all urgent and require Your best solutions. Thank You for being alert to our cries out for help. We ask knowing You are listening, You want to give good gifts to Your pleading children, and basically, You are our only and best hope. Thank You for working out Your divine plans in each of these situations. Only You are worthy of our asking for help. So again and again we cry, “Help!” I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

Just reading in Daniel how, when needing to learn the dream, Daniel and his buddies got together and…… prayed!

Thanks for the prayers. Tank cleaning is done, banana bread made, lasagna for lunch made, roast in the oven for supper, and some lovely person did my laundry earlier without my knowing it, I found out. 🙂
There are severe thunderstorms and possible heavy rainfall predicted to hit here about 8pm. I teach until 7:30 tonight and then have a 20-minute commute home. I could do zoom lessons from home, but if our power goes out, then I have to reschedule those lessons yet again. So I will stubbornly go to the studio for in-person lessons like I planned so I can get these make-up lessons out of the way.
If you could pray about all that as you are led, thank you.

Prayer that our loose horse joins the other soon. He did not follow when we led her to the new pasture, but he won’t go far either.

Horse is in the pasture. Thanks!
