It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget to pray for The Gambia.
Anyone else?
Psalm 110
Of David. A psalm.
1 The Lord says to my lord:
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.”
2 The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of your enemies!”
3 Your troops will be willing
on your day of battle.
Arrayed in holy splendor,
your young men will come to you
like dew from the morning’s womb.
4 The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind:
“You are a priest forever,
in the order of Melchizedek.”
5 The Lord is at your right hand;
he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.
6 He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead
and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.
7 He will drink from a brook along the way,
and so he will lift his head high.
Prayer for husband as he continues the homeward journey. And prayer for five year old who insists she is not going home.

Mumsee! I wouldn’t want to go home if I was 5 and visiting you!!! Praying.
Unless God clearly leads otherwise, D is going to call and offer his resignation to the school division today. Please pray for clarity of thought and to be attuned to what God has to say. It would be a huge loss to the school if D wasn’t there. Both for his great teaching as well as for his Christian influence. Thank you.

Husband made it home. He will go for his infusion and then directly to Florida as his step mom is newly diagnosed with cancer and needs to start chemo Monday. In hospital for several days. So husband will go to stay with his dad until his sister can get over there. This retirement stuff is sure busy. Pray for husband, pray for step mom, pray for dad in law.
Also prayer for son who went on the road trip to Louisiana with husband. He is struggling with lots of things. Racism (he is black), abandonment (he has both bio parents but was put in an orphanage at seven), and Christianity. The last one gets resolved, the others will fall in place.

Mumsee . . . Wow. It all seems too much.
Prayers for Mike. He is an energizer bunny to do what all he does, and you are, too, but with the stay at home bent.
Lifting y’all for special blessings of strength to rise to the occasion. And prayers for the son to gain better understanding of his worth and potential, as well as everyone else’s simply from being made in God’s image. I wish he could listen to Secret Church when it talks about such things. The overall theme for 2022 is Identity in Christ.
Lord, please open the eyes of his heart to understand so things can fall into place and no longer feel like issues and obstacles. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

And it’s done. D has resigned. Now he’d like to find some employment close by just to tide them into retirement. Sorrow and sadness over the whole situation.

Oh Kare I will continue to cover D in prayer. As he has entrusted the Lord with direction concerning his resignation I fully expected that the Lord will lead him to where He wants him. Bless him for standing firm in his resolve even though it was with a heavy heart. 💔

May D’s resignation serve as a powerful and long-lasting witness to Christ. Praying for their whole family.
