Praying for Mike as he and his team head back home this morning.
And for the 6 Arrows clan as they celebrate with 3rd and her new husband and await 5th’s diagnosis.
Anyone else have something to share?
Psalm 103
Of David.
1 Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
7 He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
9 He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.
19 The Lord has established his throne in heaven,
and his kingdom rules over all.
20 Praise the Lord, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding,
who obey his word.
21 Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will.
22 Praise the Lord, all his works
everywhere in his dominion.
Praise the Lord, my soul.
Continued prayer for husband. They are within fifteen miles of goal but the guy, who is familiar with the area, is letting my son guide them to the destination and is following in his own vehicle. And the guy dropped his phone and broke it last night. Quite exhausted, stressed, and medicated. Prayer they get him into the relative safety of his relatives and they are willing to help him.

Asking God to lead them through His divine GPS, Mumsee. May the destination situation be what is needed (already prepared in advance by God).
Remember prayers for Six and family for the diagnosis that will be received today and the wedding later in the week.

They arrived and it appeared they were not prepared for a new occupant. He was greeted with a hug and they are sweeping out a room for him now so they can off load his stuff. Family dynamics….

Prayers for my neighbor Rhyan whose heart surgery is today to repair an aortic aneurism. Pray for as little stress as possible for his wife, Shirley (they met as teens and right after they married he was off to Vietnam with the Marines).

They are through Texas and New Mexico and into Colorado. Somebody may have a lead foot. My mother in law was named Lead Foot Nellie.

Thank you for your many prayers for 5th Arrow. He received two diagnoses (a primary and a secondary, neither of which I feel like reporting at this time). The diagnoses weren’t exactly surprises to us, and I wasn’t expecting good news, but the results were still poorer than I thought they’d be. I cried on the way home. Thankful Hubby came with to this appointment and was driving.
Hubby and I are rather wiped out tonight. I’m glad we both took the day off work; we did really need the processing time that we took after the appointment.
We will need wisdom going forward. It’s been a long road for us, for 5th, for his siblings, and the journey continues. Our family can use prayers, whenever you may think of us, as we forge ahead into the always-unknown future.
Thank you.

Praying for all even though I’m not sure what’s what with individuals. Thankful that God knows.

I was sadly misinformed. Son, like several of my children is ESL. English as a second language and misspeaks. He told me they had crossed Texas rather than crossed into Texas. So they are not so leadfooted after all. Still in Texas. I have crossed Texas myself and it takes many many hours.
